We got to the restaurant around 10:00 am. It was very busy and required wait. However, the wait time is not long.
The pancake and waffle breakfast portion is super large for us. I shared the pancake breakfast with my kid. They are delicious. Unlimited refill coffee is great. I would like the coffee to be a bit stronger.
The wait time for the food is a bit long. I guess it was because of business. The waitress was distracted by the customers. 😅

Here on vacation. My kids loved this place from before. The food was good but you have to fight the flies in order to eat it. Our meals consisted of waffle, veggie omelets, and French toast. I don't have to go back but my girls plan too.

If you want a delicious breakfast, come here. I was craving pancakes, and these were the best I've ever had. Light, fluffy, and oh-so delicious. I overheard the woman next to me saying the waffles were delicious, too.
Appears to be family owned and operated, which is always a plus.

Wow.. this team had serving the masses down to a science. Food was delish, very short wait. And the lady that handed out lollipops upon exit was precious.

This is a decently sized diner, and a table is normally available. Which is good because you should try this place. I was in Virginia Beach for about a week and this was my favorite place for breakfast. The food is a fair price and you get a healthy portion. I really enjoyed the service, the staff us very friendly.

Let me start off by saying that they were very busy and we had a party of 14. We were seated fairly quickly but it took an hour for us to get our food. In that time our drinks weren't filled. Once our food came it was pretty good. I appreciate that most plates had pancakes as a side option. The portions were generous and everyone left full. Good pancakes, huge and tasty omelets, and good waffles. The steak was overcooked.

Maple Tree Pancakes is wonderful and always a pleasant experience everytime. I’ve been here twice this week 2 days in a row and came back and requested Ali. Ali is simply amazing, pleasant, professional and always punctual. I never have to ask him for anything. Ali work ethic is impeccable… I will definitely return again and if you’re in the Virginia Beach oceanfront area, I recommend you come to Maple Tree pancake house as well!!!!!!!

I enjoyed my food a lot, but it was extremely busy and waiter was unattentive. Prices were fairly well $7-13 for a person, depending on what you got.

Wife, child and I stopped by here for a late brunch, and didn't have too many expectations going in because of the Google score, but we were pleasantly surprised. Service is great, very friendly staff including owner and waitresses.
I ordered the strawberry Belgian waffle and it was definitely one of the best waffles I've ever had, no joke. Very fluffy and soft, but perfectly crispy on the outside. The strawberry glaze is made with fresh strawberries, so it's not overly sweet. The whipped cream is homemade and tastes just fantastic. Overall, I highly recommend the waffle. My wife had a veggie omelette with a side of pancakes, and all of it was very good. The pancakes were very fluffy and soft, but just so flavorful. Will definitely stop by here again when we're in the area.
