This place never disappoints! I love the gluten free/light dinner specials (as they are usually some kind of seafood , my fav!) and my husband and several friends LOVE the steaks! Cooked to perfection with their Gorgonzola mac and cheese, asparagus and salad. The nachos are a staple and must have! Great wine, beer and drink selection:) Definitely get the oyster stew, which is seasonal! We have friends that go their every Sunday for brunch and absolutely love it! What are you waiting for? GO :)
This place is AMAZING!! Great staff, great atmosphere, an expansive array of wine, and absolutely incredible food! Definitely recommend!
Visited for the first time today while vacationing at the beach. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic…fresh, large portions, and great quality. Loved the unique touches like the pickled onions and tomatoes on the sandwiches, and the brown sugar butter for the biscuits. The sweet potato biscuits with ham and red pepper jam were delicious and better than others I’ve had in the area.
The sandwiches are huge (a half portion option would be great), and quite messy but well worth the sticky fingers and extra napkins.
Very clean and comfortable atmosphere, and clean restrooms!
One of our new “regulars” for sure when we come back to the beach!
Was here recently with my family. The four of us were ready to try a new place, so we stopped by. We beat the crowd, which was nice. The parking lot is only but so big.
The waiter was fantastic.
The food was OK. Ordered scallops as appetizers, and it came with three, but there were four of us. I had a special dinner of scallops, steak, and salmon. It was good, but the portion seemed small compared to the price paid. Perhaps the potatoe puree could have been traditional naked potatoes. And instead of medium, the steak was done. The size of the salmon should have been larger.
Looks like a good place so I'd like to come back a second time. I saw some other things on the menu I'd like to try.
While in Virginia Beach over the summer, we went here for a pre-beach day brunch. And such a great place to do so.
It was pretty busy there, which makes sense since it was a Saturday. But we were able to be seated within minutes of arriving. The vibe was a nice little rustic, modern, comfy spot that wasn't super huge. We were seated in one of the high tops on the second floor dining room. Our waitress was good and attentive throughout our dining experience, and the service was pretty good as we did not feel like we had to wait too long for food. We each ended up ordering some type of Benedict - he got the Crab cake one and I ordered the special for the day, which was some sort of fish (I think Cobia). Both were fresh, tasty and well seasoned. The portions were perfect and left us stuffed. We also ordered the Build Your Own Mimosa with orange and pineapple as our juice options. The whole meal was priced so well! The mimosas would've been double the cost in Philly and other places.
I really enjoyed the food here. Would come back when in the area and highly recommend anyone visiting in the area check it out.
The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The staff was very friendly. The food was amazing. We had French Toast,Waffle,Home Fries,Crab balls, Sweet Potato biscuits with country ham,and the seasonal drinks were delicious and seasonal.
The light was quite dim, not too flashy to set the ambience. Parking was small and alright. The food was amazing and service was good. The waiter kept checking on us just to make sure we're taken care of. They also had the Brussel sprouts special that had the balsamic sauce and it was amazing! Hopefully they can make it a permanent thing on the menu. I'm not one to really like Brussel sprouts but the one they made was delicious! The only thing that wasn't really that appetizing was the carnitas hash. Other than that, they usually have specials and I wouldn't mind coming back here for brunch. Filet mignon Benedict was the best idea, thanks to the recommendation of our server!
From the moment we walked in everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. Decor is great! Manager and staff are outstanding! The Shrimp & Grits cake were the best I have ever had! There were 5 of us and we all enjoyed our meals!
Cute spot with dining upstairs or downstairs
Ordered:
📍 Meatloaf
📍 Avocado sandwich
📍 Mac & Cheese

On this Saturday the parking lot was full and so was the restaurant glad we made reservations. Our server was great
This place is fantastic. Great people, amazing food. Went for lunch today and ordered the shrimp and grits. Phenomenally prepared and served! My waitress Angie E was exceptional. She was very tentative, knowledgeable of the menu, quick service, and a delight! This is a once a week establishment. Highly recommend
The rustic spoon is an amazing restaurant. Their fries and burgers are absolutely delicious. I also love their honey mustard because some places just can’t get their honey mustard to taste good. The waitress was amazing as well. 10/10
LOVED this place!! My only complaint is there's not one in Ohio! My friend took me here for birthday brunch, The place was super cute! We had firecracker shrimp for an appetizer, they came out fast, crispy, and delicious! I ordered the sorbet mimosas(Raspberry and Watermelon were my favorite)while waiting on the souffle pancakes, which were worth the wait! Our waitress Angie was the best! She had great recommendations and was so sweet and friendly, Shelly too! Next time I come to Virginia I will definitely be back! All around 10/10!
