Tyler the chef and the crew are amazing! Great atmosphere and cold drinks. Food is great and band night will leave you feeling like a kid again!

A positive must everytime we are in town! We always plan to get there around 5pm to secure a table outside and beat the big rush. No worries about the wait, as there's plenty of room outside for the kids to play and run around. Food - Amazing! Service - Speedy, awesome and super hospitable! Atmosphere - Heaven! It's right on the reserve so you have a gorgeous backdrop should you choose to sit outside and at 7pm, insert the live band!

My sister and I had an amazing meal tonight. The location is beautiful sitting by the bay, and service from Sarah was amazing!! We had the polynesian rice bowl and spinach with goat cheese salad. Food was amazing as well, best meal of our vacation. Thanks for an amazing dinner all around.

Beyond impressed with our total experience this evening! Our waitress has very attentive, informative, and friendly. The place was packed but our food order did not have a long wait time at all. The She Crab Soup and Seafood Au Gratin we’re phenomenal! The pasta had an abundance of shrimp, scallops, AND crab meat in it. The food was so good that my husband asked to thank the chef for our food and let him know he was doing a great job. (my husband has never done that before!) This is our first time staying in the Sandbridge area and I am very impressed with Baja. This will be a MUST STOP anytime we return to the area.

I have a lot of memories of this place dating back to the late 90s, obviously it's since changed management. This is a nice place to have a quiet meal, I would say food is average, maybe slightly above, but not knock your socks off or anything. Service and atmosphere are A+, if you wonder out back, they have this cool grassy area with an outdoor cabana style bar, music, cornhole, etc. The views of the bay are breathtaking (remember, though, you are near standing brackish water, so spray up with insect repellent), overall we insist on making this part of our annual trips. Parking is a little tight, especially in a pickup truck, lot is hard to navigate with one, but hey, not a deal breaker at all

This place was enjoyable. We had a huge party of 26 people and they actually managed to seat us all at two tables next to each other which was impressive given it was packed when we arrived. I have to give them a little break because they were trying to deliver a ton of food at the same time, but there was some inconsistency in the seasonings. My nephew's chicken tenders probably needed a shake more salt. My Polynesian bowl was tasty but some of the rice was dry and hard. My wife's seafood au gratin was decent but heavy on the pasta. The she crab fries were amazing as was the seafood risotto. Overall a good experience.

Low key beach hang out. Food is good, drinks great. Amazing sunsets. My favorite is the morning coffee shop! Not fancy, so as long as your expectations are realistic you won't be disappointed.

Amazing venue for events! Attended a wedding here recently and it could not have been more perfect.

Went for a nice dinner without kiddos. Had the special soft shell crab sandwich, very good. But the green beans... Oh My delicious! Beer selection was smaller. Also returned later that Eve as other fam wanted Mojitos, however can only order those at the restaurant not the bar. But on the flip side was more beer (I was told about) at the bar.

If you are looking for just a night out or a family friendly place this is it. Chill indoor/outdoor atmosphere with live music Baja is the gem to stop in when visiting Sandbridge. Even with a wait our kids enjoyed the outdoor area. The staff is super friendly, cocktails are delicious, and their food is always fantastic! This is our 8th year in Sandbridge and we ALWAYS make sure this is a stop! 💕 Thank you guys for making part of our trip every year fantastic!

Beautiful views from where we ate outside and overall Absolutely amazing! We had some amazing rum runners, then the Thai Broccoli and She crab soup as appetizers. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. Everything about it. For dinner we split a Deluxe pizza and were equally blown away with the overall quality. Cant wait to go back and explore other menu items. It was also a fantastic value. Every thing was great including our server, Hailey and the Bartender.

An all time Sandbridge classic! We’ve been heading to Sandbridge as a family for 40+ years and never miss an opportunity to go to Baja. The food is great, the back deck expansions and live music are awesome, and you can’t beat the view! 5/5 every time! Looking forward to going back!

This place seemed like a family bar, there was all dorts of kids running around and playing outside. Seems like a good place to eat, it was packed, the bar had open windows to the outside and no bugs, not sure how they did that cause there was a swamp or wetland near by.

Hmmmm well keeping in mind it was opening night. The service was good, our server was friendly but, never offered water, never mentioned the specials and only checked on us once. The Food: We both ordered the burgers, which were the special. I had a Surf and Turf which was supposed to have crab meat on it and was $10. My GF had a Baja burger which had one small piece of bacon, pepper jack cheese as well as LTO. Both were cooked perfectly and seemed to be fresh made. However they were somewhere between 1/3 and 1/4 pound. Leaning toward 1/3. Both were supposed to be on brioche rolls and were not! The rolls were small and seemed like the were fresh off a Walmart bread aisle. The supposed crab meat I paid $3.00 extra for was terrible! Seemed like the cheapest crab meat possible! No flavor, no lump crab meat , no taste at all. The French fries on both of our orders were served cold and undercooked ! How do you screw up fries? The decor seemed to be just finished with the smell of fresh paint in the air. They have a huge room overlooking the back bay and sunset BUT, it was not open ! The outside bar was also CLOSED despite it because by 75 out! The inside bar is extremely small, less than 15 seats. It was full and no other bar was open . They have 2 entry doors but, have the front entrance closed, forcing everyone to walk along the far side of the building to enter . This also causes anyone trying to get to the only open bar to navigate through everyone eating their dinners just to find it. This also causes any of the bar smokers to have to navigate through the dinner crowd as well. The whole vibe was uncomfortable at best. I understand it's a soft opening as having owned 2 bars myself, however it's not their first year at the business. They need to prioritize many things and start with open the water view bar area first then fall back on the small dining area and bar. I know John Taffer would have been upset as well! Lol Hopefully they can learn from feedback, make some improvements and then we will give them another chance.

We went with a group of 12. There were no tables but they let us sit at the bar and order appetizers and drinks. The appetizers were yummy and the drinks were great! When we were seated, the servers were pleasant and the food was excellent. I never had a tuna burrito before but tried it and wasn't disappointed. We all enjoyed our dinner and definitely recommend this place.

Love this place! So relaxed when I’m there. Super kid friendly & laid back with big open outdoor area for kids. Love the venue for local bands. My husband’s band has played there a few times & it’s my fave place to watch them 👍🏼💚

Visited last night with family after a celebration of life ceremony on the beach. I was very disappointed in the crap "soup" which should be offered as dip and served with pita chips, I couldn't eat it...the calamari was bland with absolutely no flavor, didn't eat that either. Our server however, was perfect.

The Volcano Tuna with sauteed greenbeans was wonderful! The she crab bisque has gone downhill over the years. It used to have lumps of crab meat. It now has very little crab meat and extra spice. I wonder if the extra spice was added to distract from the fact that there is very little crab meat. I wish they'd go back to the old recipe. By the way...I love the outdoor atmosphere. The dodgeball is a great idea!

This place is the best! Went there for coffee & breakfast. Vanilla almond chia overnight oats (they had a way better name) were fabulous. The service was fun & the view beautiful. Super kid friendly. Thanks for making our vacation that much better!

Last night I took the family for dinner and was disappointed with the new menu. I’ve never been where you couldn’t get a house salad.The new menu is very limited.😂

With three kids in tow we showed up at 4:50 pm for the 5:00 pm opening. At 5:00 we we're greeted, seated, and quickly served our libations. The kids all loved the steamed shrimp, and the adults tore into the she-crab soup. The restaurant has a small footprint in a beautiful setting. I can imagine times when it is overly busy and the servers might be strained, but that was not the case with our visit. Our server, Gabby, was polite, extremely helpful and efficient. I enjoyed the shrimp tacos, and everyone loved the steamed shrimp so much that we are planning another visit before the end of our vacation.

Family Dodgeball night was fun! Great place. You get a good view overlooking the bay from the bar area.

I had my wedding here last weekend and Baja hit it out of the park! The bar staff and the owner, Jimmy were incredibly friendly and helpful. They took care of so many things behind the scenes to make the night run smoothly. Plus, the food was AMAZING!!!! Highly recommend for an event or just a delicious dinner!

Food was great, love the atmosphere, love the outside bar and area by the bay. Beautiful view of the bay. Restaurant was very hot (felt like no AC) and loud (it was hard to hear people at our table), but overall it was a great experience and definitely worth going to if in the area.

It was very loud for the type of restaurant it is. My broiled crab cakes came out luke warm at best. Food tasted good but not hot. The wait time was way to long. Would I eat here again? Highly doubtful. Tho not the restaurants fault the drunks behind us were obnoxious and extremely loud. We left with headaches.

Absolutely fantastic place! I held my husband's 40th surprise birthday party here! Jimmy and his staff are absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and you can't beat the location or the view! Thank you so much.

Baja is the BEST! If you're staying in Sandbridge you've got to stop in and give it a try. Craft cocktails, local beers, fresh seafood, and an enjoyable atmosphere. Brunch is also phenomenal! Catch the best views of the sunset every night on the bay. Check out the summertime music schedule! The bay view bar is a great place for drinks and dancing

This is our 3rd year vacationing at Sandbridge. We fell in love with the Baja and enjoy the food, drinks, and atmosphere. This year at least 2 members of our 8 person family are there every night with the exception of Monday (only because it's closed). We have always had great service and we know that typically there is a wait, but we never mind. We go out back and enjoy a drink and some time outdoors. We will certainly miss this place as our vacation draws to a close.

Want to drink it's the perfect place but if you came there to have dinner make sure you eat before you come took a hour and 45 minutes to be seated then took an hour for the food.

Fun place to be with good food and entertainment. It's like getting out of town without getting out of town!
