I’ve been to a few Mexican restaurants, but this one takes the cake a million percent. Between the food which was the best I’ve ever had, phenomenal doesn’t even BEGIN to cover it. The staff, the best customer service I’ve had in a LONG TIME. Extremely courteous, friendly, attentive, and just every other positive words you can think of. My son who is 6, has been learning Spanish in school and the person taking care of us, Diego, was so kind, helping our son speak Spanish and just the best person ever! Diego made the experience, and honestly the day ten times better. Thank you for an amazing experience and can’t wait to see if you come to Charlottesville!

I do not exaggerate when I say this is easily the best Mexican Restaurant/Grill I’ve been to. As soon as you enter, you’re already greeted with a large bowl of salsa to sample. The waiters were phenomenal in both their coordination and their speed. I have never had 5 different waiters all working at once to ensure that everyone’s experience is going well. One waiter brought us water, another brought us chips when we asked, and another brought our food, whilst one further then collected our plates. It is rare to see a waiter/waitress team communicating so well. The bathroom was clean and well maintained, alongside the tables and chairs.
Now onto the food. The chips and salsa never seem to run out! They’re fantastic, to the point where I had to remind myself that I had food on the way multiple times, and stop eating. Hot salsa was provided in less than a minute upon request, and also nourishing. The meals themselves were equally stellar. Not a single person out of my whole family (six people) had a complaint, including myself. I have never been so satisfied from a meal. My Wet Burrito was $16, well worth it. A Fajita for 2 was $30, and considering how much chicken and steak was on it, definitely a fantastic choice! Strawberry Daiquiri was only $6, and delicious. The food isn’t cheap, but the quality cannot be bested!
Overall, I would come to this restaurant any day I was hungry and available. Any tourist would be lucky to find this place, with good service, food, quality, and environment, you can’t go wrong by coming here! Definitely a staple of the Virginia Beach area.
I haven’t been traveling in my RV for 3 years and visited 32 states. This may be the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. The service is ridiculous! After two giant margaritas, I am actually thinking these are not humans! No way humans can run so efficiently. They will have your chips and salsa at your seat before you get comfortable sitting down. Some random waiter replaced my creamy sauce the second I was done with it without even asking. The bartender is amazing! A little difficult to understand, which makes the experience even better. Most of the patrons during my visit spoke Spanish, which tells you this place is legit. This is a 10 star restaurant in a 5 star world.

We are visiting from out of town. We were greeted immediately walking in the door and served chips and salsa right as we sat down. The staff was efficient and friendly and the food was absolutely phenomenal, not to mention the drinks that were also amazing. It’s great to see a family owned restaurant with such great food and service. Will be going back
Amazing food, presentation, and taste. The service was excellent, the chips and sauce were especially good. The highlight of the dinner was the Margheritas! These are crafted Margheritas done with care. Menu is full of wonderful selections for anyone's gastronomic desires.
This place is exceptional!! Giant bowl of chips, never ending salsa, queso orders are large as a standard, and probably the best tacos I've ever had. I can't overstate how incredible our service was. Extra napkins, extra tortillas, refills of everything without having to ask. It's obvious that the entire staff take great pride in the experience they provide. We arrived after a long drive and this was exactly what we needed. Wish we were local so we could enjoy it every Friday night. Thank you for the hospitality ♥️
Phenomenal experience. We were in the mood for quick comfort food, and decided to stop here. The service was excellent and attentive. The food was plentiful, served hot and fresh from the kitchen, and it is truly prepared to an authentic standard. We got the table side guacamole and found it to be delicious. Avacado was left nice and chunky, and it was seasoned to perfection. The Mocaljete is a feast to behold, and so tasty. What a fantastic value! To make everything memorable, it was Margarita Monday! I had mine with salt and on the rocks. What a treat! We sat outside and found the ambiance to be very good. Not much road noise, and the music was not turned up too high, so for those with sensory processing concerns, this venue is just fine.

Food was great! Had good flavor and was hot. The waiter didn’t speak very good English so that was a barrier. The Mexican street corn was nasty. To me to was burnt. The manager came and made another one but it was cold and undercooked. He took it off the check thank god. Manager was very efficient and understanding.
Fast service, friendly staff, great portions, vegan options AND good food! What more could I ask for! Me and my family came here to enjoy a good meal and this place did not disappoint, the staff even gave me a free refill for the horchata! If you are looking for a place to dine with family or friends this is the perfect place.
