Review Bonefish Grill - Virginia Beach

Bonefish Grill located on Virginia Beach Boulevard near Sam’s Club is a great spot to grab a meal. Bonefish Grill has great menu options to please most. I dine in sometimes and order the Bang Bang 🍤 Shrimp and the Maryland/Style Crab Cakes 🦀 very good. the Bonefish House Salad 🥗 is delicious❗️I usually order take out here. When ordering take out I usually the Bonefish Signature Pasta.

We chose here to have my son's 16th birthday dinner as he wanted lobster. We are beyond happy with our visit! We entered and were immediately greeted by the hostess. We were sat at a booth and our waiter Shaun was amazing the entire time! He has such charisma and is super informative on the menu and specials they offer. My son ordered the perfect pairing of lobster tail and the filet and it was cooked perfectly. My husband also got the filet and my daughter and I got the sirloin and I also got a crab cake. The filet melts in your mouth and the lobster is served with a delicious lemon butter and melted in his mouth! The steak and shrimp is seasoned to perfection and cooked beautifully. The crab cakes are delicious as well. You have to try their calamari is my new favorite in the area! To end our meal the birthday boy ordered key lime coconut cake and it was huge and so well worth it!!! The white chocolate cranberry cookies warmed up were amazing! From the staff to the decor to the ambiance this is my new top spot for any seafood or steak dinner I crave!! Thank you to Shaun for helping to make my son's night amazing!!

First time coming here in years. First the atmosphere is top notch. Service was amazing from the hostesses to our waiter. Didn’t have a reservation but was only a 15 wait on a busy Saturday evening for two. Had a couple of Mango Bourbon Sours. AMAZING !! The perfect balance of sweet and sour with a bourbon kick. We had the Bang Bang Shrimp tacos and a summer special of Shrimp and Mexican Street Corn. Tacos were good of course. The shrimp and mexican steet corn dish was excellent. Only knock was shrimp was very overcooked, and this is a seafood establishment. The corn was the highlight. All in all, I will definitely be back.

Cara was great, personable, respectful, efficient and fun. Would definitely come back. Atmosphere amazing and the food was excellent!!

I had the seafood broil which was seasoned to perfection, not overly salty like some places. Hunter was our server, he was very nice and accomodating. The overall atmosphere 👌 we're here on vacation but I definitely want to go back before we leave.

I took myself there for Mother's Day dinner. They were still running Mother's Day specials even though it was after Mother's Day. I bought two meals for the price of on, and it was great. I got a salmon dinner and a pork chop dinner and a piece of the key lime pie. The service was okay. However, the waitress kept fidgeting and made me feel rushed, but eventually, everything came out correctly.

Our appetizer and main entrée was so fresh and delicious! I LOVE their warm crusty bread and pesto dipping oil! The real hero at this restaurant was our waiter, Dante. Phenomenal customer service, he was just a really nice, down to earth type of person. My friend and I will definitely be returning! Oh! The mixed drinks are delicious too! 🍹🍸🥃

The service here was AMAZING. Our server, V (I’m sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was excellent. The drink she suggested for me to try, because I love sweet drinks, was delicious. I don’t think there was a name for it, but it’s the pink drink in the picture. My husband got the Virgin piña colada, and the Coral Reef Pinch was also good. I ordered the Chicken Marsala, and my husband got one of our favorite items on the menu: the Crab-Topped Bang Fries. All of our food came out hot and tasted delicious! Daniel (I’m sorry if I misspelled your name too) brought out our food, and hooked us up with some delicious sauces for my husband and his best friend’s meal. He was so nice and really helpful. He even took a group pic of us outside when he was done working. I would definitely suggest eating here for the food and the service!

Came here from out of town for Marine service school. Even though they were short staffed, service was still amazing. Food and drinks took a little bit longer to come out but all were worth the wait. Our server was very sweet too. If you are ever in a city that has a Bonefish Grill you need to go give them a try. I had the bang bang shrimp for the appetizer, my all time favorite. It had just the right amount of spice in the creamy sauce on top too. I had the Cod Imperial for the main course. It had the lump crab, shrimp and lemon butter on top with the mashed potatoes and coleslaw for the sides. I tried some of my coworkers crab fries that had lump crab and bang bang sauce drizzled on top. So yes definitely we'll be coming back for sure when we return again for school. Until next time. 🤙🏾🤙🏾

Love the bonefish grill! Bang bang shrimp tacos are hella delicious. They have a new pasta dish with creole flavors and the trout never disappoints. Love the Chilean sea bass as well and the key lime cake is surprisingly mouth-wateringly good. Also, they do support our Military and give a discount. Service never disappoints and this is always a family favorite!

Thr bang bang shrimp are AMAZING. The atmosphere and service were great as well. Our waitress had a smile and attitude that was infectious. The drinks were also really good also.

Kendell is an awesome server! She was very personable, friendly, and helpful! The food was amazing and the pacing of courses was perfect. This was my second time getting the rainbow trout and it is delicious. They have a wonderful menu that I’m excited to explore!

We really enjoyed the Bang bang shrimp! Very clean and we got fantastic service. Our server Rocky was truly the best our drinks never went empty. The food was delicious. We will most definitely be going back.

Seafood was delicious. I enjoyed the Chilean Sea bass. I'm glad we ordered appetizers since our entrees took a while to get out. Service was ok. It might have been a busy Saturday night but our waitress didn't really check on us much. We had to hunt her down to get our bill paid. Atmosphere was good overall.

Waited a long time to go here and wasn’t disappointed! I had the coconut shrimp, asparagus and risotto. It was FAB and our server Dante was very accommodating. We never felt rushed. We were attended to promptly and he was very personable. Can’t wait to go back.

Our dining experience Bonefish Grill was just perfect! We had the bang bang shrimp, steak & lobster, scallops, potatoes augratan, lettuce wedges w/ blue cheese & bacon, asparagus & for dessert Carribean Coconut pie! I highly recommend this restaurant. Service was exceptional

I was given a Gift Card for Valentine's Day decided to finally use it. I sat at the bar & it was happy hour so the prices were very reasonable. I ate bar food b/c I wasn't extremely hungry. I had the beef sliders, fries & 2 martinis. Service was excellent. Food was delicious & atmosphere was great. This would be a great place to take a date.

Enjoyed lunch with my son. Although I’ve always had a great experience at Bonefish, we really enjoyed our selections. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our server Tracey was fantastic. I’ll definitely be back to try happy hour as well.

I actually loved how accommodating the staff was from the time my group arrived until we left. I had a party of eight with gifts and it was a little tight, didn't complain,holiday time, but the manager came over and noticed and added an empty table to ours. Great food, excellent waiter, super place for a birthday!

We came here for the first time with a gift card we won from an event on a rainy Tuesday evening. On walking in the ambiance is nice, quiet, dimly lit but not too dark with very tasteful decor (I'm not super fond of the revolving door, but that's a personal preference). The hostess was nice with a tinge of "what are you doing here?" on her face (We didn't plan on coming so we were in errands gear: jeans and a T for me and shorts with a T for him - I suggest business casual if you don't want to feel under dressed). The place had 4-6 tables filled in the main restaurant and 3 bar tables plus a handful at the bar, I saw at least 3 waitresses and a few bussers and runners. We were sat promptly at the bar in a VERY spacious booth (sits 8 in a pinch, I'd say). The waitress came in a decent amount of time to take drink orders and see if we're ready, we weren't so we got water and continued to peruse and discuss. Water and bread came shortly via a runner. When she came back we ordered but she left so quickly my husband couldn't order his drink. Figuring she'd come with the apps we waited, apps came (15 min or so), the shrimp was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it. Apps went (another 15-20) - no waitress even to check on our apps. Dinner came via a runner: so we ordered the drink with the runner. After that (about 5 minutes) the waitress came saying "you need something?" so we reiterated that we ordered a drink from the runner. We didn't see her again (we saw her at another table through all this; just not ours. And she ignored attempts to politely flag her). My salmon salad was amazing and very filling (I was only able to get through half) and his tuna was also delicious! Absolutely no complaints about the food beginning to end. He also ordered a Moscow Mule that was a little over filled with ice, but otherwise perfect and the candied ginger was a huge hit, the frozen cup was a great added touch as well. About 15 minutes after we'd finished and clearly had piled all dishes at the end of the table to show that she asked about dessert and then brought a box and a bill. The total was beyond the gift card so I put cash for the difference and I was brought back a $10 bill And a $1 bill intended to force me to tip over 15% in spite of the subpar service, which is not appreciated. I wish I could have just tipped the runner because she did more and was more helpful than my waitress was. All in all a solid C because the waitress was pretty bad, but the food was great. I would go again... so long as I didn't get that waitress.

I enjoyed my dining experience. The staff was very attentive and I NEVER had to ask for a drink refill. When I was finished with my meal, the staff was very considerate of my conversation with friends and actually waited a few minutes before presenting the check. That was awesome!!!

That lobster-stuffed shrimp!!! Yum! Moscow mule was on point! Shout out to JABARI, our waiter. He was amazingly patient and attentive to a group of crazy ladies celebrating life! He made our night! Thanks!!!

After having had a good experience about 8 years ago, we tried Bonefish Grill again. With only five tables occupied, we waited almost an hour for our food to be delivered. I had ordered a medium rare steak. It was a completely brown, dry tasteless piece of meat which was unedible. We left and won't be coming back.

Loved our waitress Tori. � She greated us with a warm welcoming smile and keep us very happy � The raspberry� collins were amazing, bang bang shrimp� was the best than I've had anywhere and the calamari � was fresh and amazing as well. The atmosphere was very cool � then afterwards we left to find a flat tire ha but Tyler? From the kitchen� came out and changed it for us. Thank you so much, we will be back �

My husband and I went last night for the first time and LOVED IT! I work in the hospitality industry and I think I experienced the best service I've ever had at a restaurant. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Shout out to Ethan, our server, he was amazing! He gave us great suggestion off the menu and catered to our every need without us even having to say a word. The food come out quickly and hot! Everything was delicious. We will definitely be retuning.

Love the happy hour cocktails and menu! Very nice environment, excellent service and I feel comfortable stopping in by myself. Even the other customers are friendly. Love the full menu too for special dinners with family
