I am usually an Uno's deep dish type of dude but man this place had some of the best Chicago Deep Dish I every had in Virginia. I flew in from California to spend time with my family and they recommended it. I second that recommendation. You should come check it out if your on a quest for Chicago Deep Dish š¤š¾š„š

This is one of the best, if not the best Chicago Deep Dish I've ever had. The crust is excellent with crispy edges, rich tomato sauce on top and very flavorful cheese. Fun Chicago decor as well. We'll be back next time in Virginia Beach.

I live around the corner and I work in the same shopping center at warriors and I canāt believe I slept on this place for so long. I havenāt had Chicago style deep dish since I was in Chicago in 2015 and was obsessed!! So delicious! Timing was great! We ordered carry out at 7pm on a Friday night and it was ready in 45 minutes. Definitely will be ordering again!

Brought the entire workplace here for a lunch outing and everyone loved the pizza. Iām biased, but as a huge Cubs fan I couldnāt dislike this place if I tried. Some with our group have said that this pizza is better than the deep dish served in Chicago!

As close to Chicago authentic as I have found. They do toast the bread on Italian beef sandwiches, the Chicago dogs were good. The GF pizza crust was a bit overdone. The gyro sandwich was smaller than others I have had in the area. We have taken out and dined in.

Iām from Chicago and when I crave an Italian beefā-I go here. Itās as close to it as I can get and it never disappoints. They even have pizza puffs and they are 100% on point! Decor is awesome and staff are always welcoming

Authentic Chicago style dishes has a deep dish challenge ask about it . Nicest staff that loves children plenty of seating I drove 2 hours from richmond to visit this cool place with my family and plan to come back on regular basis

Got the appetizer sampler and their signature deep dish, kids hot dog. The hot dogs are legit Vienna beef, so expect a chicago dog to be right if you order that. The pizza was worth the wait. The appetizers were solidly ok, but are not why you are there, so still 5 stars overall.

It's lou malnatis in Virgina Beach! Just at a fraction of the cost! I always cringe when places claim to make chi town style pizza, but these folks nail it! Small pizza pub feel and great customer service on top of a great pizza? You can't beat that... get there and get yourself a chicago style for dinner... and then a cold piece later for tomorrow's lunch!

There's Chicago deep dishes really good! I don't know where else in the area you can get one. Their regular pizzas have great crust and flavor too. Will definitely be back.

Windy City is one of the few legit deep dish Chicago pizza places around. I consistently hear it is the best if you want to try some deep dish so we ordered one for pick-up and it was SOOOO good!
I've been in a few times since for other pick-up orders and we've tried one of the hot dogs which was also amazing.
These pies take a while to order so you need to allow about an hour and not wait until you're starving - but it is worth the wait!

Went to spend the weekend in Virginia beach and we planned on trying out Windy City Pizza. It did not disappoint!! We ( family of 6) tried the Italian beef, gyro, Chicago style hot dogs and the thin crust. All of it was delicious! If you like Chicago style food then this is your place! I was even able to buy some beef sandwiches deconstructed to take back with me...over 3hrs away. The customer service and food were top notch! I will be back!

Been coming here for a couple of years now. My husband is a native Chicagoan and he is always raving about this place. Never a bad word to say about the food but unfortunately todayās service was poor enough to leave a sour taste in our mouths. It was our sonās 11th birthday and he asked us to bring him here. We drive all the way from Newport News each time we come. Our service was way lower than our expectations. We were never offered refills, we had to ask, and before our meal was even finished our server rushed to our table to see if we wanted the check now. My family felt rushed and not wanted in the establishment. My husband even asked our server if she needed us to leave soon. To her response, in a seemingly unapologetic manner, ā Uh, no but just in case Iām not around, you wonāt have to wait to pay.ā Being in the industry myself, I tend to not try to critique fellow servers cause I know how times can get but for this server to handle the situation the way they did and to have another employee come from the kitchen to gawk at our table was, all in all, pretty unprofessional.

Oh my goodness! Finally ordered the āStoney Islandā pizza! Was gonna do the BBQ Chicken Bacon deep dish as Iāve tried that one before (Thanks Kelly!) but went with traditional crust tonight! Yāall have absolutely out done yourselves! Hands down, so far lol that ones my fav! The bbq sauce selection truly makes that pizza! I also want some of that bacon ļæ½ yum freaking yum! Regular chain pizza just doesnāt taste the same anymore. ļæ½ Thank you guys! Youāre the best!

I come here when I am missing home the pizza is exactly they way I remember Chicago deep dish pizza to be. I could do without all the Cubs stuff but thats just me being the Die Hard Sox Fan I am lol. But overall it is the best pizza in Virginia hands down.

A native born Chicagoan am I. This was my first visit to Windy City Pizza and my main aim was to try the Italian Beef Sandwich and the thin crust pizza.
1. The wait staff was terrific. Our server was from Chicago and lived less than a mile from where I was raised as a child. We had some good reminisces.
2. The thin crust pizzas we had were terrific. And for sure a pleasure to try again.
3. The Italian Beef sandwich left a lot to be desired. I am so used to Portabella and Juniors Italian Beef, both in the Chicago area, that I was totally disappointed with the French Dip sandwich I received. Don't get me wrong, for a French Dip it was rather good but for Chicago Style Italian Beef a bummer. I won't order one again.
4. We did not try the Chicago Hot Dog but that will be coming.
5. The little cozy restaurant was very family friendly and their selection of beer and other drinks very satisfying.
All in all, disappointed in what I was craving to have and more than satisfied with the rest.

Great customer service! I had the Italian roast sub and fries and it was very tasty! Did not get pizza but the deep dish I saw there looked amazing! I will give it a taste next time. Wed night is 50 cent wings special! I will be back 4 sho!!!

I heard about this place from a coworker and I'm glad he told me. A little bit of home for my husband. He had his Italian beef double dipped and pizza puff he was in heaven. He couldn't thank me enough. Our kids enjoyed there food just as much as we did. The staff was very friendly and talkative (makes you feel at home). It's a drive from Suffolk but we will definitely be making this trip again.

Being from north of Chicago, to FINALLY find true Chicago food - it's AMAZING!!! The Italian beef is to die for and the pizza is off the charts. I go every chance I get. Can't wait for the Chesapeake one to open, it's only 3 miles from my new house. ļæ½ļæ½

This was my first time here. There were 8 of us, so I understood the 15 minute wait for a table. The bus boy sat us and gave us menus. After 15 more minutes, no one had approached us at all. The waiter waited on the surrounding tables and wouldnāt even make eye contact. As we got up to leave, no one cared. Very disappointing.

Have had several different deep dish pizzas, even in Chicago and this one was right there on the spot. Buttery crunchy crust, thick cheese for the cheese pull, lots of toppings and the sauce. It won't disappoint. Breadsticks and salad are wonderful as well. Just make sure if you are hungry to call ahead if you want a deep dish. It takes around 45 minutes to cook one.

There is not a whole lot to compare it to out here in va beach. But by far better then Uno's (please don't be offended that I'm comparing it to this, but it's all we got out here) from what I remember in chi town, this place is pretty close. Amazing food with Chicago memorabilia e'rywhere.
