The food was good. We were seated quickly. Our waitress didn't check on us much, but she did bring us whatever we needed. Our food was delicious. I had the Raven Deluxe without tomatoes. I shared the chocolate truffle dessert with my friend. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly.

Food was delicious! Crab cakes are gr8! Staff was very friendly & very attentive. My waitress never let my drink get under halfway & she didn't even write our order down & everything came out perfect..fresh..very hot. I will definitely be visiting again.

been dining here every time I get to VAB for over 42 years and have never been disappointed ... love the atmosphere, waitresses have always been great, reasonable prices for the portions you get ... always get the French Onion Soup which is wonderful! Caesar salad with blackened tuna was a hit, crab legs are another favorite ... though 2 hrs. away, Raven is one of my favorite places to dine

I love the seafood here. I got the broiled seafood platter with salmon, scallops, shrimp and a crab cake. It was awesome. I've been going to the Raven since the early 70's. I am sad to see them closing.

Heard a bit about the place and wanted to give it a shot. I mean who names their reataurant after a work by Poe? The beer was tasty! Jacob devoured the crab legs and the fish tacos weren't bad. The waitress was nice, the food arrived quickly and was reasonably priced. If you're a smoker it might be one of the places left you have your own section. Non-smokers don't worry, you can't smell the smoke where you eat. Overall a good experience.

One of my favorite places to eat at VA Beach! They have great surf and turf choices, kids menu, and desserts! Staff is great every visit. Best crabcake sandwich I have ever had!! 🦀

Awesome place! The atmosphere was calm when I went and had the feel of a small pub. The food is amazing and sized bigger than expected. The adult beverages were well crafted. The wait staff was amazing and extremely helpful! P.S. Smokers are welcome in a smoking area and ash trays are provided!

They are a little cozy place. They have a very nice staff that is always willing to accommodate for picky eaters like myself. The gift shop has cool t-shirts and a reasonable price. They allow smoking in the restaurant which is uncommon in the area. The best part by far was the food. They serve a great steak marinade, and a great salad. They price their food at a reasonable amount and it is well worth it for the food that you're getting.

The food here was very good. The waitress we had was very nice and checked up on us a reasonable amount of times. All of our food was made correctly the first time. It is a bar as well, witch has smoking and you have to go though that to get to the nonsmoker section. Other than that great experience!

We ate here two nights in a row. Food was excellent! Staff were so nice and friendly! Of all the places we ate at, this place was tops! Prices were really good too! The clam chowder is to die for! I'd recommend this place to anyone of any age. Great atmosphere!

The food here is amazing, we went back the next day we loved it so much. The drinks were fantastic and the staff was great as well. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but don’t judge a book by its cover!! My son is the pickiest eater ever and even he loved the food here!!

I haven't been to The Raven since 1982 and I kind of remember having steak. I went tonight with my wife and daughter and loved it. Pretty good service, nice waitress, I had an excellent cheese burger and fries, My wife had scollops and shrimp. She usually gets them fried, but they didn't have them that way so she had to get them broiled with cheese and sauce. She is picky, but absolutely loved them! I did too! My daughter got a crab cake that was very tasty and we shared the peanut butter chocolate pie that was good as well. It is 26 degrees tonight and we set next to a window on the South side of the building. We were warm with a nice view. It set me back $56. and I left a $9. tip. We'll be back to The Raven!
