I loved it! Food was great but service could have been better. Our waitress kept disappearing. We sat at our table waiting and looking for her many times just to get extra sauce and a to go container. Then she brings the smallest container for the pineapple bowl, SMH. But overall it was a good experience!

11/9/23 - I have been here 3 times now. It always pretty packed for dinner but you can reserve a head. I recently went and got the tequila salmon. It was pretty delicious. They have really fun drinks here too. One of their margaritas that comes in the pineapple seems to be a favorite. I got another drink but forgot was it was called. Service was nice as well. They also have a special menu for vegan you just have to ask for it.

Didn’t knock my socks off, but everything was pretty consistent: food, service, and atmosphere. The Jerk Chicken Pasta didn’t really have the jerk flavor I was looking forward to, but it was still tasty. The crab and cheese dip was solid too.

My husband and I enjoyed our time here. Pretty clean place, and the food was so good. Didn't really care for that second drink because it was tangy, but we had a great outing.

Glad we we're able to eat here in Virginia Beach, had been eating at the one in Ft. Myers Florida, food is great, drinks are great and atmosphere is on Island Time!! We will be back!!! Servers are outstanding!
August 2023, another visit for some outstanding island food. Pricey but food was good, drinks were delicious and again the servers were outstanding!! These folks take a great deal of pride in their work. Restaurant is clean, cool and ready for service.

Great place with good food! I've dined here multiple times and absolutely love the food and atmosphere. I came here last week and had a great experience. The staff there were very friendly and welcoming and I was seated immediately. I decided to try something different so I ordered the jerk shrimp pasta with Cuban bread. It was so good and the portion sizes was generous!! I could only eat half and took the rest of it home with me! I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! The flavors were on point and it had a little spice to it. I used the Cuban bread to dip in the sauce from the pasta and that was good! I was too full for dessert but I did order the king carnival drink and it was amazing! I love the atmosphere and the music here as well. I came just in time because there was a DJ that came and played great, soothing music. I'd highly recommend this place!

Got there a couple of hours before closing and the staff was awesome! They were very helpful with suggestions, let us know of the current deals and were friendly and quick with their service. We ordered the Jerk Chicken Pasta, the Bacon Burger, Coconut Shrimp, Deep fried Conch and cheesy crab dip and chips.
Loved the vibe of the space and it was well kept and maintained. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for delicious food and good times!

Excellent service with Sharnette who also makes the very best drinks! I had the buttermilk chicken with mashed potatoes and black bean & corn salsa. My food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice and the music put me in an island like zone.
