Wow oh wow! The margs were to die for and the “fruit salad” on top was so cool and delicious! Definitely get the shrimp tacos and pork tacos street style and ask for the habanero cream! I’ve been dreaming about it ever since! The staff and atmosphere is so invited and you will be so happy you tried Gringos!

Each time I visit Gringo's, I find a new favorite item on the menu. Today's favorite was the shrimp and pineapple quesadilla with rice and beans. Oh my goodness! So much flavor is packed into that entrée. I also found it to be very filling. Excellent value for the price of this delicious meal.

7/23/23 - Had their food in March and always have their top notch drinks. The burritos are big and delicious. I never request anything specific to drink. I tell the bartender (Larry) i trust him and to surprise me. He's never let me down.

I've never had their food but I hear it's delicious. As far as their drinks..... the bartender (Larry) makes some amazing drinks. Haven't had one I didn't like. Presentation of the drinks is top notch as well (fresh dragon fruit is my favorite). There's one that begins with a "C" towards the bottom of the drink menu board by the tiki bar and another I call cinnamon toast crunch bc the rim is dipped in cinnamon and sugar with tequila.

Great experience! We loved the food, the drinks were tasty, and the employees were kind and attentive. It was a recommended restaurant by the airbnb host, we're glad we went & sad they're closed tomorrow... the Coffee from Heaven was delicious.

Service was prompt and pleasant. The chips and salsa were delicious. The salsa tasted fresh made with just enough cilantro to not be overpowering.
I ordered the nachos. Not only were they delicious, they were beautiful! It looked like a flower of yummy goodness! All of this and affordable too! Do yourself a favor and save room for the lemon tres leches cake for dessert. Everything was spectacular!

Outstanding food as well as service!! A true hidden gem at Virginia Beach!! The tuna mushroom burrito is by far the best I've ever had, and salsa is amazing. If you're in Virginia Beach is a must-stop. We are from Pennsylvania and stop here everytime we are in town..

I have waited almost 15vyears to get a Baja fish taco with jalapeño cream sauce. The homemade salsa is fantastic! A little sweet, a little smokey and some kick! Man! They are just as delicious as I remember!

First time visiting last week. The pork enchiladas were great. Service was fast and friendly but clearly the highlight was Larry behind the bar. Takes great pride in his creations and the pumpkin spice margarita was amazing . A quick discussion on Mexico and Tequila lead to a small shot of Mezcal before I said goodbye. Will definitely be going back

Excellent! Best fish tacos in Virginia and probably the mid Atlantic. Do yourself a favor and get the fish tacos and ask for a side of chile macho (spicy green chili sauce). The fish tacos come out hot and have a ton of flavor and are excellent with habanero cream sauce…but I also loved their chile macho sauce which took it to a new level. I also heard from the table next to me that the margaritas were great so I’m going to try one next time. This is the type of joint that gets stuck in your head!!!
