This is a nice place to go to for a date. I took my wife here and she has loved the view from the deck. The sunset was amazing. The food and drinks was good. Our server TY was very helpful and friendly.

Bubbas is on of my favorite restaurants! We go there a few times a month. The clam chowder is amazing. All the food is wonderful. Some of our favorites are the southern bay (fried shrimp) the bubba burger, bubbas chicken sandwich, and their coke slaw is the best. Water views from almost everywhere in the restaurant.

We were supposed to dine at the back deck, but after being seated for more than 15 minutes, i had to request one of the three employées to have something to drink.
So, we opted for Bubbas, where i was welcomed with a smile, we were well seated near water. Service and food was awsome!

We popped in for lunch around 1pm on Saturday, found a parking spot in the lot and got a table right on the water immediately. The server was quick, the beers were cold (I had a Red Stripe, hubby had a Safety Dance) — and the raw oysters were absolutely fantastic. Huge, local, fresh, just a little bit of horseradish, oof they were good.
My broiled seafood platter was also terrific, nothing overcooked and the crab-stuffed mushroom was an unusual addition. My husband's burger was a little overdone but no worries, it's a seafood restaurant. We loved the ease, the vibe and the freshness, and we'll be back for sure. Thanks guys

This place is fabulous!! The service, atmosphere and food is just amazingly good. Local seafood at its finest. I’ll definitely be back when in town for business again. I even got a pint of clam chowder to go it’s so good.

We got the broiler platter and stuffed mushrooms 10/10. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. That soft crab was seriously amazing. The she crab soup was ok I guess, not really something I would order again, the slaw is weird and not mixed so I would double up on the delicious fries instead. We loved the deck, looking out on the water and watching the boats go by.

Overall above average could be better. The crabcakes, clam chowder are average. The she crab was too salty. I had the broiled seafood platter, the best thing in the platter was the lumps of crabmeat top with shrimp, the fish was bland, the scallops, oyster rockefeller and stuffed mushroom were decent. The raw oysters are good. The calamari was good but the dipping sauce was not.

My wife and I on a Saturday evening called ahead. It was crowded and bustling. Outdoor seating on the pier is scenic. Outstanding service, delicious food and reasonable prices.

Beautiful, clean water side restaurant, with music played in the background yet softly enough to hold an easy conversation. Our server, and the owner who took the time to visit at each table, were extremely friendly and eager to please. Wow!!!! We accidentally left behind our small leftover box and the owner followed us to our car to deliver our food. Wow!!!!
Their seafood and sides were excellent. The calamari appetizer was delicious! Would have preferred to not have any salt/ seasoning added on crab legs after boiling though. The catch of the day, rock fish, was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Delicious!
We all had deliciously fresh baked potatoes with sour cream. Although I would have preferred an oil & vinegar dressing option on my coleslaw, theirs is a perfectly shredded cabbage, that is drizzled and not soaked with a homemade mayo-based dressing that was delicious! Uniquely different!

Great experience here for the 2nd time. Came around 5pm and managed to get a seat outside quickly. Excellent view different from the main area of VB...quiet and cool boats cruising by for a fun experience. Inside is nice too. Excellent service. Drinks were ok nothing exceptional but I only tried 1 strawberry crush and a sangria. Sweet but that's expected. Our food was delicious. I appreciate the homemade slaw and that it wasn't too sweet! Fish was also excellent - we had fried flounder. Definitely would return. Thanks for an excellent meal.

What a beautiful place to share a meal with good friends! Sitting on the porch in any kind of weather is fantastic. Watching the goings-on ...in and out of the water is lovely. Add that to yummy food, good cocktails, and smiling staff...it's a winner. If you are from out of town or have friends coming to town-- go there!

Sounded like a good choice for seafood so we gave it a try while visiting the area. Nice view from our table. Friendly staff. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms and they were delicious! Also shared a bowl of each of the she crab soup and New England clam chowder, both were tasty. We shared the Two Crab Cake dinner, broiled, and they were very good. We decided to top it all off with a piece of key lime pie, and it was delicious!

We were visiting from out of state, and our son suggested we try this place. It was wonderful! The food was fresh and delicious. The view was amazing! We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Virginia!

Had a late lunch 11 May, dined outside, Beautiful view, watching the water traffic go by. Dylan was our most excellent server and very knowledgeable about the menu. I had crabcake sandwich ( Delicious! ) with 1 star fries and a flat coke. Fries were the 2x fried fast food variety kind. Meh, but the crabcake made up for it. Spouse had she crab soup and shrimp cocktail with stale crackers. Said soup was delicious, shrimp great. Just some small items for them to improve on but would gladly return.

Been there many times. The view and atmosphere on the patio is still great but the food has really slipped and took forever to get. Had a big hair in a crab cake and no manager ever came out to apologize. Salmon is not remarkable, to many ingredients in the crab cakes, coleslaw is not good and to substitute any side for it is another $3. They now also charge extra for more than the one roll they bring with your dinner and on and on. Just disappointed this time

The atmosphere and view was great but the price was insane ($80 for three to eat: 6 shrimp & fries, 3 scallops & fries, a ceaser salad with four shrimp on top, and one mixed drink - if you can call juice with little to no alcohol a mixed drink) and the food wasn’t very good. Our waitress, though very cute and personable, was very slow and forgetful. We had to remind her about the mixed drink we’d ordered and when refills had been requested.

Our first trip for my wife’s birthday lunch. We ordered seafood plates- one with oysters and one with flounder. Both plates were cooked well and looked appetizing upon reaching the table. The large portion of Cole slaw was especially good. We had the Crab soup for an appetizer - it was full of crab pieces and delicious. They were busy and is worth the wait.

The food is ok. You are paying for the view. At lunch the fish was good, French fries were the best thing on the plate, bun too big for the fish. We hadn’t gotten any food yet, just our drinks and the hostess ask us how we were enjoying everything? My husband looks at me and says... the crackers are great! our waitress was good, she refilled everyone’s drink but mine, it was an Arnold Palmer. After waiting 5-10 minutes for her to come back, she was greeting guests and seating them, my husband walked to her, she said oh the drink is at the bar and pointed to it. Never apologizing, nor the hostess....we won’t be back.

I took my family there last night for dinner and it wasn’t good. The waitress took our order didn’t write anything down so when the food came out its was screwed up and she blames us . Then she had to take two meals back to get the right ones made. Then our food wasn’t good undercooked broiled dinner. The fried fish tasted like the frying oils were old the French fries had a fishy taste. Great location nice view but for spending 150 for our meals and most of them being bad really sucked! Bartender was nice.

Everyone was very friendly which is sooo important. I asked a family outside the restaurant how’s the food? His family liked it and he really liked the rockfish.
I ordered the rockfish, grilled. I ordered broccoli and a baked potato. I asked for some bread because I hadn’t eaten in a while. Fresh, hot rolls out of the oven. My pat of butter was rancid 👎🏾👎🏾
My rockfish was so fishy for a fish caught that very same day and whatever seasoning they put on top:DON’T!!! It was awful. I scraped it off 🤮

Disappointed. The crab cake was thick, and tasted luke warm in the center, no crust at all, just soft. Calamari was overdone. Cole slaw was just awful. My husband did like his clam chowder. My grandson’s popcorn shrimp and chicken tenders were good. Service was very good.

A casual comfortable place with great food at waters edge. Their salad is beautiful to look at and the ingredients were fresh and crisp. The blackened tuna was juicy and fresh. The service was excellent.

Took my family there last night at 8pm. We were the only table there. It was one of the worst dining experiences I have had while on vacation. The waitress spilled a whole shrimp sauce on my daughter's Tommy Bahama shirt. While scrubbing it off told her it wouldn't stain, they used very little ketchup in their sauce. Told us it happens all the time, at least she didn't throw a fit like some people do? Are you kidding me?!?! Shouldn't happen at all. Shortly after I find a hair in my salad. Then when she brought us our food she reached over in front of my plate to hand my husband his food 3 times instead of walking 3 steps behind me to put it in front of him herself. Nothing like underarm and long hair in your face while trying to eat your salad. When she brought our check she let me know she took the 2.95 salad off and even circled it on my check. Really, it was 188.37. I would ASSUME there would of been more of a discount from putting up with the shenanigans. Unprofessional as it gets. I recommend going next door where it was packed, I'm guessing for a reason.

We had dinner here on recommendation from a friend - it was excellent! As a table, we got the lobster tail, the blackened salmon, and the crab cakes. Everything was perfect, and tasted amazing. We wrapped up dinner with the house made key lime pie to go, and it was the best I’ve ever had. 5/5 Stars, will definitely return on my next trip to the beach!
