We have taken out food once and dined in today… The Makai Saag ( not in the picture) is the best thing I have tasted so far.
The desserts were good too!
Food could be a Lot better🙃.

Great Indian cuisine! Good service and atmosphere; reasonably priced, delicious food. Chaat of the day was unique and flavorful, also loved the onion bhaji and mango chutney. Garlic naan, tikka masala, and biryani were what you would expect, all very good. Dessert sampler was a great way to end the meal - definitely recommend the flourless chocolate cake, although the gulab jamun was unique and very good as well. Absolutely recommend this restaurant if you want some good Indian food!

We ordered chicken makhni, onion bhaji, chicken curry, malabari goat, garlic naan. Food was good. The atmosphere is nice, great for a date. Bathroom clean. They would had five star if the service was excellent. Staff was super friendly but we waited a while before our order was taken.

Lovely restaurant with delicious food and a warm and friendly staff. This made for a wonderful dining experience.

Very classy Indian restaurant with a variety of classic selections on the menu. Today, I had the lamb biryani at a spice level of 3 out of 5. That's all I could handle, anything more I would not be able to taste the food.

Great experience as always. Got the Samosas, Onion Bhajis, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Palak Malai Kulcha Naan. All were spectacular. This is not the first time dining here. Every time I have brought family to this establishment, the service, food, and atmosphere has been wonderful. Will continue to bring friends and family here as the food is outstanding.
Pricing is reasonable for the quality of food provided. Parking is not an issue as this restaurant is located in a shopping mall so there are plenty of spaces available. Lunch and Dinner have different menus so do not expect to see the same dishes on the dinner menu for lunch. Be mindful of their hours of operation as there is a closed period between lunch and dinner for prep.

Stopped in for a quick snack in between deliveries and I got these HUGE samosas🤤🤤 Crispy but STUFFED with deliciousness! The setting and staff are so unbelievably nice and I cant wait to come for dinner. And always order the mango lassi!

Beyond impressed!!! We went here for dinner for the first time and it was wonderful. The staff helped us navigate the menu as we are newbies to Indian cuisine. Step outside your comfort zone and try something new. You will not be disappointed!

More on the fancier side of things. Pretty pricey for what you get. The spice level wasn't that much. Would be nice to get the full naan and not the cut up portions. Friendly service.

We went to this place during our visit to Virginia Beach last week. What a fresh ambience and quite spacious and clean. The service was as favorable as the place and food. All the lady servers were super polite and cordial, although we were the customers who came in when they were just about to close, they made sure we put all our orders in without any hesitation. We ordered the chilli paneer, which was okay but the lamb Patiala was super yummy and the tea was refreshing as well. My kid enjoyed their Gulab Jamun. It was indeed a pleasant surprise to get such a welcoming experience with fresh food at 9:30 pm. A must check out place if you are an Indian cuisine fan.

Very delicious food and fast and friendly service. I would definitely go back to celebrate a special occasion. 4 stars instead of 5 because it is bit pricey. However, they do offer military discount of 10%

I am sitting here now and oh my goodness the food is amazing!! The best Indian Cuisine in the area!! The atmosphere is wonderful and the restaurant is clean and we'll put together. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The Tikki masala is second to none and the Lamb chops melt in your mouth! We will definitely be back here!

We have lived all over and were so impressed with our dinner from Masala Bites! Our two young children were over tired and we didn't want to drag them out so we ordered take out (which I was surprised they even offered since they are very upscale).
We decided to go with our all around favorites and got Chicken Tikamasala from their classic menu, paneer tikamasala, paneer pakoras, samosas, and raita. We were really pleasantly surprised that we didn't have to pay for rice separately. Who would ever get Indian food without rice? It would just be wrong. The rice was plentiful, fabulous, fluffy and had wonderful whole spices. The dipping sauces were included also and were FABULOUS!!! They also gave us more than enough of the sauces. We are so happy we are grinning from ear to ear! Thank you! We will absolutely be regular customers!!!

Thus was our first time eating at Masala Bites and it was excellent. We had the brunch special which is a 3 course dinner and very filling. The appetizers were prepares fresh and left you wanting more. The seasoning for the sauces for the entrees were some of the best I have had anywhere. For dessert would definitely recommend the rice pudding and the mango mousse. Will definitely be back.

We are here on Sunday night. The atmosphere was really nice and clean, the service was perfect. But the food was amazing. It is by far the best vegan Indian food here in Virginia Beach/Norfolk area! I will be definitely going back. The vindaloo was spot on and the Califlower App was amazing.
