Taylor was very nice and attentive to us. I feel like she was the only one waiting tables. If she was, thanks for your kindness Taylor.! Food was great tasting which helped add a sweet ending to the fact we missed the fireworks... I got my nachos I had been craving. They did not disappoint! I got it with 3 meats, shrimp, chicken and steak. And each meat was visible, not like some where they dice it up so small or shrimp wise give you extra small ones.. Money was well spent and I wouldn't mind visiting again.

Last visit was 6-years ago, and elated that the food quality is still consistently delicious! Enjoyed blackened tuna and scallop tacos, hearty tacos with slaw and pick. Black beans over-flowing with melted cheese-yum! Service was great for a busy Friday evening!

This place did not disappoint. Food was great and the portions were great too. Prices were reasonable too!! A must go if you’re in Virginia Beach!

Went Monday night for the $2 tacos and beer, I was not disappointed. Service was great. This was my 2nd time coming and I will come back the next time I'm in Virginia Beach.

07/21/23 went here yesterday it was the wife's first time. It was as good as I remembered. The wife was sceptical but once the nachos came out she was happy. The kids chicken tenders were amazing! I would get them. The fish tacos were great. I don't think you can get bad food here. The sauces are homemade and are delicious. They have a kick so watch out. Must try.

The food was good, but my favorite was the tortilla chips! I personally had the chicken flautas. When I went, the inside was very busy, and you could tell it was a popular spot for friends. There was only one waitress, beside the bartender, for both the inside and outside. She did a very good job at balancing it! If you were to come here, definitely bring some friends, and try to carpool considering parking was a little difficult.

Walking by and we saw a sign saying Fried Lobster tacos. Wife, kids and myself we're starving and said let's give them a try. This might turn into one of our regulars when we come into town. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Loved that the table had maps on them... we just happened to sit at a table with Costa Rica, so I bored my kids, telling them stories of when I backed packed through in my 20's. My wife ordered a hard grilled tuna taco and a fried Lobster 🦞 Taco, I got the lobster as well, with rice 🍚 and beans, both kids got beef 🌮. Everything was amazing. Wife said it was one of the best tuna tacos she has ever had. I also thought the basic rice and beans were really great. Only thing I didn't like was they don't have Iced Tea?? It was a fun place. "Take on Me" by A-Ha was playing and the whole place was singing the chorus.. it was actually very cool. We will be back! You should give it a try.

Home of the best damn fish taco on planet. If you don't agree, we can fight. I have traveled and eaten all over the world and I stand by this statement to be fact. I've been going to Baja Cantina for over 20 years, and the food and atmosphere never disappoints. It is a true local's honey hole

The best fish tacos in VA beach, maybe VA. We have been coming here for 12 years and quality is impressively elevated across time. Grilled mahi is the way to go. We ate the Comida Pesca, multiple fish tacos and a burrito. Pesca was our choice with rice beans raw cabbage and lots of salsa. Best taco vote from our teens, go get yours.

This was my first time visiting this place after perusing Google maps for good eatery nearby for my holiday. We got chicken burrito, fish taco, and wings and they were great! Especially the fish taco and the burrito, with their in-house hot sauces, it did a decent job stopping the Mexican craving. The wings are okay, but some came out burnt, which the server replaced it upon request. Overall, try this place out for the first time.

Food was FANTASTIC! Service was fair. Our waitress was wonderful. Super friendly and was on her game. Never once had an empty cup. She had my refill before I even had to ask. Nachos were great. Had I known how big they were I wouldn't have ordered a meal. Taco salad and the pipeline were just as good.... only complaint I really have was the ladies room was nasty. Water leaking onto the floor. Ceiling leaking. Kinda gross.

Love the tacos. Locals know how good this place is. Don't let the side street look scare you. D-licious

Came in at 7:00 pm. Server initially was friendly. We sat outside. When it started to rain we found a table inside, where it was about 85 degrees. In total we waiting about an hour and a half to get our food. Was really disappointed. Our waters went empty for most of the time and the wait for the food was ridiculous. When we asked we were told the food was almost in the window. And then it didn’t come for another 45 minutes. It is now 9:00 and we have eaten our food (which after they got my order correct was delicious), still have empty waters and are waiting for our check to come.

Omg worst place ever the food was not good and the foul mouth on the waitress wad really bad calling with the racial comments from the cook would not recommend to anyone.

Horrible experience!!! The food was awful, and the margarita was more of a lime-aid than a margarita! The bathroom sink did not work. The manager was rude when we explained our issues!!!!!! I would not recommend this place at all!!!!!

Yesterday I flew in from Nebraska to visit my best friend who recently moved to Virginia. Before heading to the beach we stopped in to get a few beers and some fish tacos. The bartender took our IDs back to the manager to approve them and after several minutes of waiting, the manager turned us down stating that our IDs were fake. Not only did he deny us service, but he also bent my ID in half because "fake IDs bend". This business had no accurate way of checking for fake IDs. It has really put a damper on my vacation as no other business will accept my damaged ID. Very poor first impression of Virginia Beach.

Great local chill spot! The Saturday 5 wings and a taco special for $6.99 is bangin! Drink specials from 11:30 to 6. Best spot at the beach. Cool people and the best TexMex around at the beach. Getcha one! Great customer service and quality always here on 23'rd St at the Baja!

Great place other than it's a smoking bar so if your a non smoker and want food. Good luck with the cigarette smoke while your trying to eat.

Great food. Stumbled upon this place in need of shrimp and seafood tacos. Burritos, chimichangas, and fish pieces were all good. Great happy hour prices. Excellent "old school" atmosphere!

Great place. Fantastic people. Awesome food, drinks and prices! the only drawback if it is bright outside your eyes need a while to adjust before you walk too far in. The bar back was even nice enough to put some water in a dish for my dog out in my truck, no charge

The fish tacos are the bomb however the cleanliness of the table was awful and the service seems to be terrible anymore. As long f as they have the tacos I will still go back every week.
