Our breakfast was absolutely delightful.Our server was truly exceptional , her attentiveness and warm demeanor made our time here even more memorable. There was wait for sitting but it moved really quick. We were pleasantly surprised by the affordability of the menu items.

We heard rave reviews about Mary's Kitchen, the reviews were right. Our server was amazing. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is very warm. This is a wonderful little restaurant, if I could give it a rating of 10 I would!! This place gets the Maryland stamp of approval. Try Mary's Kitchen, you will not be disappointed.

Service is outstanding. We are locals who become tourist. If you are visiting Virginia Beach and looking for a spot with good home cooking, go to this place. This is a spot now on our list to go during the off season. The food was good. I love a simple breakfast and it met every expectation. The restaurant is diner style and cozy. Highly recommend!

Mary's kitchen was highly recommended to us. They more than delivered. The atmosphere was fun and bright. The booth was especially comfortable. The food was excellent. But most importantly our server Tyler was more than fabulous, personable, informative and it's easy to see she enjoys her job. An employee like her is priceless to a customer service business

We went with the sausage and gravy biscuits and the croissant sandwich. Both super solid. 👌 I think the portions/proce could have been better. There really wasn't enough gravy on the biscuits BUT the flavor was indeed there. The side of bacon 🥓 was pretty great too! Lots of in house made pastries and desserts. Great stop! Will return!

I'm very familiar with VAB area but this was first visit here. Defintely will add to "must go again" list. I'm a fried green tomato fan and places serving this are hard to find. My order was Avocado toast, bacon, grits and fried green tomatoes- all delicious. Don't recall what my companion ordered but he said it was very good. I enjoyed beach vibe with surf boards overhead and posters on wall.

This is a great local American Breakfast spot. The biscuits are homemade, fluffy, and delicious. Everything ordered came out meeting our expectations. The coffee was fresh and we were in our seats within minutes of arrival. We were visited multiple times by our waitress and never had to ask for refills. The staff here were extremely pleasant and we had a good experience. Definitely give this place a try if you're looking for ample parking and good food.

Went to Mary's for a late breakfast. The waitress was nice and friendly. Overall the food was good and of adequate portions. I had eggs, sausage patties, bacon and pancakes. The home fries however, left much to be desired. They were cubed French fries and were dry. I also had the hash browns, they were excellent.

I am in love with this place! I don’t go here often but every time I go I’ve had a great time. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming, the servers have such a positive vibe and it just adds to the atmosphere! The place is such a cute diner, plus it’s local!! The food is absolutely delicious and they serve fast! Plus it’s affordable! Overall I totally recommend it

First time to Virginia Beach. Looked up places to eat. Mary's was one of the popular. Stopped at the visitors center and the lady in there recommended Mary's. Went and it did not disappoint. Everything was excellent. Waitress gave us some interesting history of the restraunt and how it started. After ordering she said we should have ordered the biscuits with our eggs. So she brought us a biscuit with our meals to try. She was right some of the best biscuits I have ever had. Homemade from scratch. Had to buy 4 to go for a snack later.

I LOVE THIS PLACE ! Even though it was busy, we didn't have to wait more then 10 min. To be seated. Waitress was great and the food was absolutely amazing ! Best breakfast in Virginia Beach! Will be back soon for more !

Birthday brunch was good overall! The waitress was really nice and very attentive! My favorite out of the flight was the apple. The chicken was really tender and the Waffles were good. The eggs needed some seasoning however the salt and pepper did the job 😉.

Karen was very friendly and took our order immediately. She knows a lot of her customers so she would talk with them a lot. (We sat for our check for 10 minutes while she was chatting with her other customers) no big deal because we weren't in a rush. The food was nice and hot and the coffee was delicious. Overall a really great experience at this small town diner

Good place for American breakfast. Friendly service. As a vegetarian we tried veggie omelet, salad and pancakes. We tried this restaurant as this is one of the old and family owned restaurants in the area.
