Based on reviews decided to give this place a try our last morning in town. There was an hour wait, which was fine because we had time to explore a bit. Ordered two left sides the French Toast was okay, I’ve had better. However,I did enjoy the sweet potato and pecan pancake! The pineapple mimosas we
Cool spot to grab some quick lunch. Good service, salad was excellent. Waited about 15 mins to be seated. We got a buzzer from the hostess, went to the lounge next door, & waited until our buzzer went off. Prompt service, chill atmosphere. Would come back if I'm in the area!
This hidden gem is so unique that when you leave, you will only wonder how even locals wander past this spot without ever experiencing it. The atmosphere has a vintage feel unmatched by any other local restaurant. The service is excellent! The food is very delicious, with portions sure to fill /sati
The food quality, the flavor, and service was all great! This has become my regular weekend place that is well worth the wait for a table! If you don’t like waiting, grab a seat at the bar! Either way, go here… then go back the next day! The prices are unbeatable!
My wife and I were here for our 7 years marriage anniversary. Came to the beach for a couple of days and we found this amazing and friendly place. Unfortunately we don't remember our server's name but she was awesome. Some great gentlemen even bought breakfast for us on Sunday. We were at the restau
We had a lovely time. The place is very popular and most certainly you will have to make a line unless you 7 AM which is when they open. We arrived around 10 AM and had a one hour wait. In the meantime, they have a next door sort of pub, where are you? Can I have several drinks as you wait. We were
Went early on a Saturday morning and only waited about 15 minutes. It’s the cutest spot with a classic old time vibe (in a good way). The service was quick, food was delicious. We will definitely be back again soon!
Fabulous place for breakfast, great bloody Marys and breakfast good and hot and delicious. Got the cheesey grits with country ham, hubby got omelet with portabella mushrooms. Will definitely return
This is our last day at the beach. We decided to try this place and it was by far the best. We didn’t have to wait for a table and we went at 10 am. Our server was friendly unlike the other places we have been to and the food was amazing. I tried a mimosa and it was so good.
We're here on vacation and I seen this place while trying to find walkable place to eat at. Found out they aren't open Mondays or Tuesdays and happened to be closed on Wednesday this week as well. Waited all week to try the Chipped Beef on toast and it didn't disappoint! Highly recommend this place
Really liked this place Food were great Pretty sure it’s popular place because at 8 am at Sunday’s we’re a lot of costumers Food were cooked fast So totally recommend
My Doc Taylor’s Restaurant experience is very interesting.🧇🥓🍳🧐 I grow up at the Virgina Beach Oceanfront. I remembered Seaside Amusement Park, The Virginia Beach Dome, and a two story pink motel. That pink motel is now Doc Taylor’s Restaurant. I first noticed Doc Taylor’s restaurant when I was young
Thankfully we got seated promptly because the place was busy. My breakfast burrito was scrumptious, a little spicy but not too much. My friend got the chipped beef on toast which she thoroughly enjoyed. Better than the food was the fast efficient service provided by our server Meg. Her pleasant
What a fun local gem! The atmosphere is great, along with the service and food. Good Bloody Mary's for $3.25! The Doc Taylor Sandwich is delicious. The banana pancakes were quiet tasty as well.
Best breakfast at the beach. Hands down, no question. A must on every trip to the area! The thyme gravy with the chicken fried steak…. One of the best bites of food wife and I have ever had.
On vscay in Virginia Beach... Let's start with our server HEIDI...she was knowledgeable and made great suggestions. From the parmesan crusted grilled tomatoes to the Eggs Bene Ala Graz and the NOLA Surprise Omelette everything thong was awesome. Try the house bloody Mary's if you are so inclined. T
