We dropped by on a whim, and OH MY GOD. The food here is unbelievable. It is SO good. I am the pickiest of eaters, this place had me eating and ENJOYING food I normally absolutely HATE. The steak was so well marinated and tender, the sweet potato fries were so soft on the inside and the perfect crisp on the outside. THE KIDS ALFREDO?!? Nothing less than absolutely AMAZING. The bartender and waitress were so accommodating and friendly. The prices were not unreasonable. Yard House and Ruth Chris are a McDonald’s compared to this place. You can tell that everything here is made from scratch and they care about the quality. We will absolutely be returning and recommending this place to everyone we know.

One of my favorites in Virginia Beach!
Short wait time. Drinks were served very promptly especially for how busy it was. Tuna bite appetizer was delicious and so was the dipping sauce. We ordered to gluten free crab cakes, seasoned fries, chicken rockafella sandwiches and sweet potato fries. I would definitely prationize this place again.
The food here is always good! This place is always busy any day of the week because it is amazing. My man and I always come here multiple times in a month. It is a great place for meeting people, a lunch, a family dinner, or even date night!
Ate here on our way home from the beach and we had a great time. They were busy but we were able to get a table for six pretty quickly. Our server was very attentive, food came out quickly and she refilled drinks throughout the meal. The food was delicious and the restaurant was clean. Would definitely eat here again.
Service was quick, food was delicious, beer on tap was great. Pub pretzel and the Jalapeño popper pizza was so good. We’ll be back when we visit Chesapeake again. Cocktail and beer menu my personal favorite was the sunbeam blonde.

Amazing! The food was filing and did not taste fake and over processed. We actually felt full and not hungry a few hours later, like at other restaurants. Everything tasted freshly prepared and had great flavor. The Chicken was thin, but not dry at all. The Salmon was perfectly cooked. The fries were perfect and the broccoli was beyond perfection. The broccoli was just right- not too soft and not hard; it was great even without butter! The Cheesecake was to die for. We were told it was made by a local baker. I wished I had his number! So how was the service? PHENOMENAL! Our server checked back on us a lot, maybe a little too much, but I'd rather have too frequent then not enough. We were never waiting to find her; she was always around. We will return (likely with friends!) We found our new favorite restaurant.
I stopped by for lunch; I waited for about 5 minutes outside because there were only two cars outside. I thought I had made a bad selection and debated whether to go somewhere else.. Multiple cars started coming in, so I decided I'd better go in and get seated. I'm glad I did, because it got crowded pretty quickly. I had the Whiskey burger, fries and a Caesar salad.
Whiskey burger was flavorful and cooked as I asked. I didn't eat the bun, but it looked good and was toasted. I wish the burger was a little larger.
Fries were hot to temperature, seasoned just right and plentiful.
Caesar salad was tasty, it had a garlic flavor and plenty of cheese.
Service was great, I was seated immediately, the waitress was very engaging and the prices were equitable.
Excellent food. Excellent people. And gluten-free was not a problem!
WOW WOW WOW!! Amazing food. I had the fish and chips and was blown away. Great food, friendly staff, wonderful design of the restaurant, and so many more positive things about the place. Will definitely be coming back. Keep up the great work Whiskey Kitchen! 😁
