Food was fantastic, service was excellent, and it was overall a good time. Prices ended up a bit on the higher side by the end, but everything was of such good quality and volume that it definitely was worth the cost. Will almost certainly return.

The food was nothing short of incredible, but what made this one of the best dinners I have ever had was our server, Anna. Anna was most professional, knowledgeable, super sweet, and just the perfect amount of present. If you have the pleasure of visiting this establishment, ask for Anna.

Oh, where do I even begin to describe the culinary odyssey that is Maninnos Italian Restaurant in Virginia Beach? Let's talk starters, shall we? The crab soup was not just a soup; it was an ethereal experience. The richness of the broth, teeming with succulent crab meat, was as comforting as a warm hug on a winter day. One spoonful and I knew I was in for an unforgettable meal. Then came the pièce de résistance: Gnocchi Margarita and Fettuccine Alfredo. These weren't just dishes; they were love letters to Italian cuisine, penned in the language of flavor. The gnocchi were pillowy delights that danced in a sea of marinara so vibrant, it could give the Amalfi Coast a run for its money. We visited Virginia Beach and stayed across the street from Manninos at the oceanfront. We ate there 5 out of 6 nights! The food is amazing! The she crab soup the best ever! You must order! The terramissou desert is a must! Fabulous service every day! I can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely the best place to visit at Virginia Beach for good quality pasta, appetizers and wine. My family and I visited here for the first time today after visiting Virginia Beach for about 7 years straight and let me tell you this is definitely our favorite. It’s so much better quality food than any of the other restaurants around the area. The Penne A La Vodka WAS TO DIE FOR. The Scallop Appetizer and the Calamari was crispy and magical. Please , please VISIT!!!!

I'm so happy we found this place. The food was absolutely delicious. The flavors were amazing. Best Italian restaurant I've been to in a long time. The service was on point and you have to try the crab soup I woke up craving it that's just how delicious it is. Next time I'm in town I would definitely visit again.

An amazing meal! I enjoyed every bite but I was stunned by the taste of the broccoli, who would've thought. I didn't do the crab soup but the crabtini was delicious 😋 Noah was a wonderful waiter, I'll be back!

The best crab soup I have ever had. Now I see why they call it award winning. It was quiet. Plenty of empty seating. With a few ppl in the bar area. Good portion on the pasta. The penne all vodka tastes better the 2nd day... Our server Dave was pretty cool.

I really loved this place me and my family went here while on spring break The food was so good I have never been so full. Thos area was right across the street from two hotels and it was perfect. We had such a good time here and it was just perfect. I would give 10p stars if I could. If you have ever had Panera's bread this places bread was 10 times better! Our server was Misty and she was so nice,she would always come around and make sure we had everything and were comfortable. I definitely reccomend coming here you wont regret it!

Visited Virginia Beach for the first time for 4 nights from NY, Food was so great here , we dined here 2 of those 4 nights. My wife had the crab soup both nights, it was fantastic, with big pieces of crab. I had a cup of the Marsala flamed French onion soup the 1st night , it was so good , I ordered a bowl the second night. The clams Posillipo was excellent, we had it both nights, The Calamari Fritti was excellent. My daughter had the Penne Alla vodka both nights & I had the Linguine Con Vongole in red sauce. All the dishes were excellent. We had Sarah as our waitress the first night & she was the absolute best. The second night we were going to request her again, but after we were seated we didn’t know if she was even working that night. So our waitress was Misty & she was equally fantastic also. Another waitress Jessica brought out our food the 2nd night & immediately recognized us from being there 2 nights earlier when she also brought out our food that night, she immediately greeted us & welcome us back. When visiting its recommended to make a reservation, the first night we waited a 1/2 hour to be seated. The 2nd visit we had reservations for 7 pm but showed at 6:45 pm but was seated right away in what the call the VIP table because the chef sometimes comes out to visit that table. We wished he did , so we could tell him how great the food & service was. Next time in Virginia Beach , we definitely we will be back again. A year later 7/2022, stopped here again twice, still great food & service. Misty was still there.

Excellent Italian food and service! Genewas our waiter and was so wonderful and friendly. You have to get the lasagna and fresh mozzarella and fried zucchini- the mozzarella is made fresh in house each day- cannot beat it! Go here if you are in Virginia Beach, cannot say enough good things!

We were a party of 28 on a Saturday night. They did a great job of accommodating us! We had our own menu with 5 set items to make it easier on the staff, which was smart. Everyone enjoyed their food (eggplant parmesan, chicken, lasagna, tortellini, etc.). The house salad was delicious, and much better than the caesar salad. Our glasses were always full! Great service, great food!

We were visiting from PA for our 20th wedding anniversary and went here for dinner. Each staff member we had interaction with was so friendly! Our waiter was friendly and on top of making sure we were good! He recommended I try the crab soup. And let me tell you it was not a disappointment!!! Then our entrees came and the food was sooo good! If you are in the area definitely go visit them!!!

One of the best Italian meals we've had (and I am part Italian). Service a little slow, but with staffing issues that is expected. Every single entree we had was very good. I had the spicy four cheese ravioli and a local beer. Recommend this for anyone visiting Virginia Beach or Hampton Roads.

Food was wonderful and service was great! Prices reasonable with everyone in my group loving their meal. Fettuccine Alfredo was excellent. It was recommended by our Uber driver as "not much to look at but great food" and he was right.

I had the Chicken Parm which was excellent. Great Service. I will happily add Mannino's to the list of restaurants I visit while in Virginia Beach.

Really good authentic Italian. Very impressive. House made fresh mozzarella. Crab chowder was the best!!! Service was very good, attentive, yet not hovering. Only thing that wasn't great was the eggplant parm was a bit overdone. Everything else was great. We love good Italian food and it's been hard to find since we got back from Italy. Our taste buds were pleasantly pleased throughout.
