We had our anniversary dinner here - so beautiful. Highly recommend eating outside. The steak was superb and the sides are very shareable. Only downside - while sitting outside, we were constantly annoyed by flies. Even when it rained (though we didn't get wet) the flies continued to bother us.
My husband and I dined here for a special date night while visiting family in town. Our experience was excellent, from the moment we were seated until the moment we left. We enjoyed the outdoor seating experience.
The wine selection is great, the food was delicious and atmosphere is wonderful. Our server was polite and attentive. We started off with the Swedish meatballs, caesar salad, both of us had filet mignon and shared a loaded baked potato and also a side of creamed spinach (sides were big enough to share). Everything was excellent! Worth the $$
Great service and food but water is more than $6 per person. Food was excellent though! We sat outside and had great views of the beach and crowds while still feeling very secluded.
Great dinner. The outdoor seating was closed due to heavy rain, but we sat at a window overlooking the boardwalk and beach. Service was excellent and food was very good. Restaurant is pricey but should be expected.
Me and my gf Waiting for about 30 minutes for someone finally notice us, and meanwhile one of the manager look like just standing close to us didn’t say a word to us.
Tasty food, very good service, but portions are small compared to price, the atmosphere and the decorations make up for that
It has been years since I dined here but enjoyed it the few times we went.
Service is always outstanding and attentive but not overly so.
The fresh bread basket is a treat and they'll bring you a variety of breads to try. Faves are the pretzel rolls. Yum.
This is a "fancy" steakhouse type place where you order your main entree for $30-60 (steak choice or surf and turf) and then you order family-style sides at $9 or so a piece.
The macaroni and cheese, their signature side, is delicious - add lobster for $15 to really enjoy it. Yum.
They have some delicious desserts if you still have room.
The indoor dining is nice and small and quiet but if you are lucky enough to snag one of the prime booths outside looking over the water, I recommend that choice on a lovely summer day with a breeze. It enhances the whole experience!

The experience was amazing! We sat outside and it truly was private dining. We sat on lovely couches overlooking the boardwalk and ocean. The service was incredible as well. The reason I give it 4 stars was the steak was terrible. It was tough and over cooked. My husband tried to order sauce to improve it, but it didn't help. You need to master your menu for $$$$ dining. However, everything else we had was to die for!!!
The staff were super friendly and attentive. They handed us their electronic wine and beer menu which was great for those needing readers or extra light. For dinner we started our meals off with the shrimp cocktail, a Caesar salad and a wedge salad. The shrimps were nicely played with four large shrimp. The wedge salad was finished with smoked bacon and the Caesar salad was served with whole stalks of Romain lettuce and fried croutons. All were very good!
Food was excellent. Started off a racist enviorment with a old white hostess telling my husband because he had no collar shirt we couldn’t be seated for our reservation, but these women dressed in off the shoulder tee shirts where fine to dine. He was dressed business casual as she told us over the phone. Thankfully another hostess came over and seated us without an issue . Once away from that old woman everything was lovely . Waiter was great . Atmosphere was amazing . Steaks were juicy and mouthwatering! Would come back ! Food makes it 5 star lady made it four .
We go to the beach (a 4 hour drive) JUST to eat at this restaurant. The steaks are better than Morton's and Ruth Chris' and the service is perfect -- totally attentive but not hovering. The restaurant is on a smaller more personal scale. Great atmosphere. The other menu choices for seafood and salad are also OUTSTANDING.
My wife and I enjoyed the food, the service , and the environment. The food that is offered is high quality and came out to us relatively quick even though the kitchen is shared by Catch 31. The service was on point as our server was attentive and knowledgeable , and our sommelier represented the restaurant and drink choices very nicely. The environment is Darkly lit and quiet , which is nice because Catch 31 is the opposite. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal and a fantastic dining experience.
Fantastic, filet was perfectly cooked, I got it Oscar style. Crab meat was fresh and the asparagus was cooked perfectly not over done in oil. Altogether great flavor and service from hostess to server to server assistant were all very accommodating. Would return and try other offerings on the menu. Dining room is private and quite in the back.
Excellent restaurant. Seafood prepared impeccably. Crab (crab soup especially) was to die for. After looking at reviews I was worried. I came to the ocean to eat seafood, and that is all we ordered. Complaints about steak not addressed here. Wait time? Why would you want a meal like this to last less than 2.5 hours? Amazing oceanfront meal
This place is nice. The food was alright though. The server was nice and kept our water filled. The mojito has way too much mint in it. Can’t remember the entree name but it was a little pice of flounder with a lump of crab meat on it with shrimp and scallops some veggies. It lacked some flavor. And wish there was more flounder less shrimp.
I was at the Hilton at a conference and ate here. Service was stellar and food was incredible. The price is not for the faint of heart but the ambience was worth every penny. Spent $465 for 4 people. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
