Upon entering, I was promptly greeted. The service was fast and everyone was super friendly! I ordered the brisket sandwich combo with the bun on the side. You can choose lean or moist for your brisket and I chose moist. The brisket was flavorful and definitely not dry. The Mac and cheese was creamy

Another great visit to Mission BBQ. This was my first time visiting the VA Beach location. We normally go to the Richmond locations. Great staff, great food, and outdoor seating was a plus. Proud, patriotic atmosphere is always a winner but what made today’s visit 5 stars++ was a service experience
Completely amazing first time experience at this place. Got the brisket sandwich and a pulled chicken sandwich with fries and sweet teas. Absolutely delicious. All the varieties of BBQ were fantastic too! My favorites wete the Texas Tang and the Smoky Mountain.

This is my third location I've been to. It's always good!! Very surprised it being a chain restaurant. The brisket is moist good smoke and bark. Tastes like beef. Not overwhelmed with a heavy rub. Smoked turkey was not dry at all. Pulled pork is always great. Always get the collard greens w vinegar
Delicious brisket! They were able to change my mind about the sauce! I've had my favorite for 20+ years, East Carolina sauce. But I tried the Smoky Mountain on a piece of brisket and ended up sopping my cornbread in the plate drippings!
Visited both locations in Virginia Beach on vacation. Both excellent but this one stood out more as started talking to KP who made us feel a little special, with her friendly, excitable personality.

Love me some Mission BBQ. This location is always friendly and great at advising what's good on the menu. I don't eat beef or pork, but the pulled chicken and turkey slices are AMAZING... I'm really waiting on the chessy potatoes to come back in season 😋.
