Hands down the best food I have eaten in a while!
I tried the Cream of Chicken soup, Navy Bean soup, Caesar salad, and the Chicken Philly sandwich with super crispy fries.
Everything was spectacular and the service was excellent, too. I will be back again and again.
Even though I like my breakfast burritos with a little more weight on them this was an excellent choice and nicely priced. First time having them and I will certainly he back again!
Nice little diner spot. Sandwiches and breakfast are great.Usually busy for breakfast and lunch but tends to calm down by dinner.
Classic diner experience. All day breakfast, 10 types of bread, all you can drink coffee and a quintessential staff of servers who know this place like the back of their hand. Also the food came out in less than 5 minutes! The only thing that would make it better is if they had a dairy alternative for the coffee (soy, oat, almond milk or something would be fab). Currently no vegan milk options
Wife and I visited yesterday from Chicago and had a wonderful breakfast dining experience. I’m so glad we picked this place over some of the more modern/upscale restaurants in the area (which we all know simply means more $$$). I ordered the biscuits & gravy; she ordered the Irish skillet. Both plates were delicious! Portions are generous (we took home some leftovers) and prices are very reasonable ($10-12 pp). What more do you want? Wait. There’s one thing that made it even more memorable, and that was the awesome service from Theresa. She was the sweetest, friendliest, most wonderful server we’ve had in years. I’d go back just to chat with Theresa again. She’s the real MVP!
I can't imagine not knowing about this place before. Gyro was amazing. Loved my meal. Everything I saw come out of the kitchen looked so good. Not enough stomach space, so will have to come back. Staff was so friendly. Will definitely be back. Perfect location from our motel!
Lynette is so amazing. She is funny and kind and she always gives us great service. The food is great and they have no bad waitresses. Jordan and Donna are awesome
My family and I have both ordered carry-out and dined in here before. Food is always hot and delicious. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this Villa Park staple!
The Area is nice to walk around and the service as soon as u get in they take care of you. The food was very good. The pancakes had a delicious flavor to them. The sausages tasted very good.
What a fantastic spot to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. I was totally impressed by the operation. They have a large menu to satisfy everyone's taste. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the coffee. It is one of those classic diners that are really tough to find nowadays. If you are looking for a great place to grab a bite, then I highly suggest stopping by.
I ate here twice... once for breakfast (Breakfast Burritos w spicy homemade salsa and hash browns) and lunch (Bacon Cheeseburger w fries and cream of chicken and rice soup). They were both absolutely delicious and filling. I had to take home food both times and I'm a big eater. The Cheeseburger was flame broiled and so tasty. The soup was top notch. The Breakfast Burritos were great with the fresh salsa and the hashbrowns were generous. The staff was nice and accommodating. SO DONT GO HERE because I want to get a seat when I go. Lol. Is that greedy? Seriously, enjoy this great place for a diner type experience but amazing food.
Great diner and worth the the drive. Came here for lunch after looking at reviews. Super quick, friendly and attentive service. I was startled 😄Ordered and was eating in less than 5 minutes. Both sandwiches were full of meat. Philly steak and cheese sammich was delicious. Big chucks of steak! So much food, I saved some for another meal. The rueben was tasty too. One of a kind thousand island sauce.

Our waitress was fantastic! I am originally from New Jersey where we have tons of diners. It felt right at home. Great and simple food.
