Great location and friendly service. Had lunch here a couple of days ago for the first time. The location is great, with indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff was friendly and the food was quite tasty. I had blackened fish tacos with a side of tots. They were nicely seasoned and very flavorful. If you’re a fan of tater tots like I am, I’d recommend them over fries. However their fries were also very tasty. Looks forward to coming back again.
First time here. Awesome experience. Highly recommend arriving about 1/2 hour before sunset and ask for a table on the water. Food presentation excellent and so was the flavor. Large portions. We had catch of the day and rib eye steak. Key lime pie and fried cheesecake for dessert. Service was outstanding.
Fun and friendly seafood and more! Fried shrimp basket lightly breaded with typical fries but hushpuppies were hard and not good at all. Peel and eat shrimp cooked well and a generous pound portion! Nice outdoor seating with umbrella coverage view of Intracoastal at Vilano Bridge. Helpful and efficient staff.
My wife and I have eaten at Beaches at Vilano several times and they never fail to please. The deck is wonderful with a beautiful view of the river. The restaurant has a Caribbean feel to it and the food has Caribbean flavors. It boasts live music on the deck and a full bar on the deck. I love the large variety of tropical rum drinks available there with my favorite being the pain reliever. The wait staff is always friendly and quick. Their menu is wonderful. My favorite is the blackened grouper sandwich with sweet potato fries. The fish is always fresh and it is a huge piece of fish. I love the blackening they use. If you like a laid back atmosphere, live music, and great food while sitting on the water this place can’t be beat. I highly recommend it.
Overall, I'd give this an alright experience. The food came out fresh and hot. My plate was the shrimp and grits entree. Ultimately, it was really good. I would say if it had a dash less of pepper, it would have been great. All of our drinks were decent. The Goombay was a recommended one, and our person who ordered it said it tasted like watered-down orange juice. Not bad, but not great. I liked it when I tasted it. I had a Botanical Mule and enjoyed it very much. Our waitress was helpful and polite when she was around. But we did have to look around for her to get refills. The restaurant as a whole was a bit dark even for a bar like environment.they were out of two of their 3 desserts which was a bummer. But we barely had room for them by the time we were done. Again, it was an alright experience, and we may even go back.
Loved the location on the docks on the water, great view! The food was wonderful! Only complaint, one of the hostesses is very unfriendly! She seated us next to the building...we saw several open tables right next to water, asked if we could move and she got very brusk with us! Loved the live music! A very romantic spot!
Fantastic food, great views and unmatched service. Ms Leah did an outstanding job of taking care of us. Great Job Ms Leah! You were the best!!!
Let’s start with the view ! Wow wow wow
It was the main reason for me going, and I was pleasantly surprised by a great welcoming from the staff, she seemed busy but was very patient in explaining the menu and suggestions on it.
Drinks ordered were good, the food comes in great large portions and very tasty.
Ordered the : Sunset Fish tacos, the Feta Chicken sándwich and the Clam chowder soup . ( all were yummm )
We caught the perfect sunset over looking the bridge which made this more memorable
Nice place, lots of seating inside and out. Great views of the pier, right on the water. We sat outside at the Tiki Bar. For dinner we had Snapper, Caesar salad, and the mac & cheese side order, it was all good.
Great food, fantastic atmosphere and just a great place to sit out in the open listening to live music while taking in the beautiful view.
I have to say this was a real gem while vacationing in St. Augustine. The food really was top notch and our waiter Mikey was always right there asking if we needed anything.
Will definitely recommend this restaurant to others and can’t wait to visit again.
Great spot for a family gathering. Our kids had the best Mac and cheese ever. The Mahi Mahi sandwich is one of the best we ever tried. Also the gator fries… just amazing.
So this restaurant has a real, at the beach under the pier vibe. I was surprised that the food was of great quality. I had a burger that was made with fresh ground beef that was obviously hand patted this is a super rare thing to get in a restaurant these days. My friend had baked brie. A few local micro brews and bamm lunch was awesome.
The best grouper tacos ever! Loved my sweet server, Leah!! The view of the water was beautiful!
Great drinks! I had crab cakes. They were delicious! Our waitress was very friendly, kept checking on us regularly. Entertainment was a nice addition to the atmosphere.
I had a very delightful grilled mahi mahi cooked top perfection. Very reasonably priced menu with a wide variety. The have the most beautiful sunset views on the patio right beside the pier.
One of my favorite places. Food is amazing, patio sitting, large portions and great for sunsets.
Shrimp tacos are filled and full of flavor
I realize it's plenty options in St Augustine but if you want to get away from the hustle or old town...this is your spot.

I stopped by today to enjoy the view and have an appetizer. I ordered the scallops topped with a Thai Chili sauce… it was excellent!
Great impromptu night out. Friday nights are always fun here and they have live music and happy hour. They have a classic Goombay Smash that tastes just like what you get in the islands. The food is casual fare. This is definitely a great place to go for sunset and atmosphere.
