I got the Chicken Kabob and the Land Chop Kabob. The Chicken Kabob was juicy, plentiful and cheap. The Lamb Chop Kabob, on the other hand, was terrible. The Lamb Chop pieces were tiny, dry and the seasoning was meh. In addition to the Lamb Chop Kabob being overpriced, this item is a no-go.

Went here last week and there were several highlights when compared to other Iranian restaurants -
1. Service was fast
2. Portions were large
3. Prices reasonable
4. And the meat and rice tasted great - ever when re-heated the next day.
I will definitely go back.

Best Persian restaurant in the dc area. Very authentic menu, amazing food, big portions, and great service. A must try for Persian food

Always great dishes. Ghormeh Sabzi a herb stew with meat is delicious at Alborz. The selection of kabobs are also a treat. Fresh, delicious, tender, and tasty like a good kabob should be. A must try!!!

We ordered Barg, Kubideh, Juje and Ghorme Sabzi and they were all delicious!
Good service, clean restaurant, respectful staff. Couldn't be better.

Overall nothing amazing but not bad. Lamb shank was tender and the soup that the lamb shank was in is very good, probably my favorite thing that I had there. The rice dishes were only ok probably would not order it again. The spicy green sauce that comes with the bread in the beginning is good, I recommend getting some extra of those and mixing it with the rice if your order comes with rice.

Great service. Most of their food was of great quality and authenticity except for their Shirazi salad, kash-bademjun (appetizer), and Paludeh (dessert), the quality of which was subpar.

We ordered Chicken Kabob, Lamb Shank and Lamb Chop Kabob. Chicken Kabob was ok, I think I like Maman joon Chicken kabob better. Lamb Shank is quite small for the price, a bit bland for my taste. Lamb Chop Kabob was delicious. Rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned with huge portion. Unlike other Middle Eastern restaurants, there’s no sauce that comes with kabobs, you have to purchase them separately at $5.00 each. Overall, a good meal and service is top notch

Dined-in for the second time for lunch and the experience was even better than our last visit.
We’ve decided to get some appetizers and order three options from menu and share and taste all in one visit!
5 out of 5, everything was great!!
We enjoyed fresh yogurt drink and bread!
I was so hungry 🤤 and I totally forgot to take picture from our food lol 😂
I will get more photos and update my review on next visit!
