Great little Cafe for an impromptu lunch. Our waitress was PRECIOUS and so sweet. The onion rings did not disappoint! Filled up on those too much before the steaming hot patty melt was brought out to the table in a quick and timely fashion. Hands down best patty melt I've had in a while!! We will stop by again the next time we pass through town!

After searching for a great breakfast place, that we haven't visited, my father and I decided to check our Kountry cafe. The reviews showed the place to have a very happy customer base, and the pictures made it look welcoming. Upon entering, we immediately noticed the decor (which, me being from Texas, reminded me of there) and the fact that the place was full. This caught us off guard, because we visited on a Tuesday, so great start. While we're were there we were greeted by 2 employees, both helpful and friendly. They seemed to be understaffed, and overwhelmed, due to the amount of work each was performing, could have used another staff member. Aside from that, the food come out delicious. The omlett I had was not only very flavorful, large enough to be filling g, but also nice and warm right up until the last bite (very rare for eggs, in my experience). The seasoned potatoes were seasoned really well, also. I was aittle disappointed that having such a great breakfast, they only offered black coffee, I was hoping to have an espresso, but it was OK. The only food item that wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped, was the gravy. While it was nice and creamy and warm, there wasn't much flavor, to me. This was a pretty small shortcoming, to deal with since the rest of the breakfast was so good, and the service too. I'll be back and really enjoyed the meal, thank you.

Great food and service! Will definitely come back. They made our "special" grilled onion burger to perfection! And the chefs salad would feed a family and was delicious.

Food is pretty good. Hot chocolate is amazing!! Attentive servers and very kind. Wish they had more options as meals instead of having to add each item you want separately.

When my wife and I come to Vidalia, we love going to new family restaurants as opposed to big box restaurants. We’ve been told by multiple people the Kountry Kafe was a must try. Of course, it’s the week of the Onion Festival, so it’s busy. My wife meets an old friend my wife went to school with while waiting to be seated, come to find out her husband works for my wife’s uncle, which I did as well 20 plus years ago. Small Town, Small World feel at its best. Our server is a sweet southern brown haired girl who takes our order, I got the special, and my wife got the French toast meal. Well pancakes were brought out instead of French toast but after a short time the French toast was brought. Both were delicious! While eating, a young child shot the paper straw wrapper that landed on our table, which we found funny. The child’s dad apologized which we assured him was unnecessary. So, the Bill comes and I ask the waitress to add a cinnamon roll to go, and I proceeded to pull out a card to pay. When she returned to the table, she told us the bill was already paid. I don’t know if the bill was comp’d or if someone paid for our meal. But either way I was very surprised, thankful, and appreciative. I always like paying things forward since we’ve been very fortunate but never have been on this side before. Just a wonderful turn of events! Will be our go to place from now on! Leslie & Pete F

Whether here for work or a local resident, the Kountry Kafe has good original breakfast food at a reasonable price. Highly recommend to anyone who has yet to try it. Side note: Western Omelet with grits and biscuit was perfect.

On my trip this weekend to visit my mom, we visited this cute little cafe. The food was great and the decor inside was cool. You almost get a feeling you're in an old country store. Besides the great service we got from Kimberly, the highlights for me were that they had really good coffee and they had Huy Fong Sriracha sauce. It's my personal favorite. These small things are what make it a good or great experience. And for all of the details that lined up for me, it was a Great experience!!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!
