Koiya Japanese Express

I don’t even know were to start but even the rice on the sushi roll WAS NOT sushi rice ,not to mention it was literally was just rice, like are they really Japanese? Cuz I mean this was just a wreck, the ppl are very nice, that’s not in question but I’m thinking do to location and demographic of the area, it would be very easy to fool someone into thinking this is Japanese food , Let’s not get into the “tempura” it was just sad , I mean the only thing that was good was the miso soup, I was just craving sushi and this was just sad , wanted to support local small businesses but they are making it hard .

Yes the food is great, but sadly after going there for 2 years now we will not be returning. Yesterday I ordered 2 plates that each included a vegetable and because I asked for one of the vegetables to be put on the side I was charged an additional $3.25 even though the meal included a vegetable. When I asked about it I was told that the manager said that's how it would be from now on when a customer requested the vegetable not be put on same plate with meat and rice. Absolutely ridiculous! The prices have also gone up and the scallops are half the size they use to be.
