We come to Vicksburg to do railroad maintenance at international paper every 3 months and this is the ONLY place we will eat lunch. Just great southern food and the staff is amazing. Highly recommend for anyone

Found this place today and stopped in for burgers and a fried shrimp basket. They don't skimp on food and it was all good. The burgers are fresh and charcoal grilled not fried on a griddle. Lots of shrimp deep fried. Will come back when in the area. Staff was very attentive as well. Clean and liked good. Right at $10 a person for us.

Seems to do a good business. Hamburger steak, rice and gravy was ok. Mac and cheese was dry and bland. Cheesecake was made from a box mix. Wasn’t worth the price. I won’t be back. They need to update the web site. It states $9 but they charge $12

If you don't stop to get a taste of these ladies' food, you're missing out on the hospitality of a lifetime. It's not just food here, it's personality and character and everything else that is sorely lacking in most other restaurants everywhere in the US. If this restaurant goes under due to our current economic struggles, the entire United States misses out on something truly good and beautiful.

One of best places to eat in Vicksburg. They have a killer catfish lunch special. The meal was extremely filling complete with sides, fresh roll, and dessert. Not only is the food good, but the service was excellent. They are only open for lunch, so make sure you plan accordingly, but this is one location you don't want to miss whether you are a local or just passing through.

Today was meatloaf and fried chicken day here. Meatloaf was salty and greasy. Mac n cheese was bland. Yummy items were green beans and cheesecake. Food was served hot and staff was very personable and sweet.
