Fantastic experience here at Blue Hippo Coffee Co. The staff is super friendly and the interior vibes are perfect. Love the drinks. Tried an iced latte and iced lavender matcha latte. Both were delicious. The food was also great. Definitely recommend the breakfast bowl and biscuit sandwiches.
Now for my standard COVID comments as of June 2022. Masks aren’t mandatory. Seating is distanced though could get crowded if busy. Didn’t have any issue personally though!

First off I liked exterior nice presentation, nice and clean. Entering the business is welcoming with a home vibe. It's quite interesting seeing blue hippos around the store. Looking at the menu I had a hard decision but I chose the egg Sammy with an iced Chai tea on the side. Everything tasted really good and so fresh! The staff was really nice also. Definitely have to stop by again for the desserts!

I don’t usually write reviews, good or bad. Just that I have been here a few times and witnessed the same results. 1. If you have the word “coffee “ in your name, the coffee should be exceptional, and it’s no better then diner coffee. 2. Customer service is terrible! The two times I was there, two different young girls waited on me, both times they had not one ounce of understanding that they represented the company. Coffee was spilled outside my cup, yet still handed to me. It’s a cute shop, but it’s cuteness can only go so far. The positive, is the food. The food is fresh and well made. I would go there for the food with no expectations that the service or the coffee is what drives me there

Ever since we moved nearby, we have become huge fans of this place. The food is all so tasty and unique. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu (pro tip: try everything). The coffee is freshly brewed and always hits the spot. The ambiance is perfect- warm and inviting. There is a backyard that is super cute for when the weather is nice. The staff is always so welcoming and willing to go above and beyond.
Most recently, I was fortunate enough to use Blue Hippo for their on-site catering. My guests loved that we were able to have the coffee shop to ourselves for a special event. They had so many compliments to share. I worked with Catherine and Monica from start to finish. They were super easy to work with and really wanted to do everything possible to make our event as wonderful as it was. There were a variety of food options to choose from and every single menu item that I had chosen was to die for.
I highly encourage you to keep this place high up on the list of places you should visit regularly. You won’t receive the same quality and service at Starbucks, Dunkin’, or that other coffee shop you may already be familiar with. Check them out!

We hosted our son's birthday party in the outdoor patio and we were so happy with the space! Despite the cold weather, there was a tent and heaters to keep us dry and warm, and it was set up beautifully. We had soups and quiches and a beverage package (all the food was very good!!) and customized (on theme) cookie decorating kits, pizza and juice for the kids, which were all a huge hit! We would definitely host here again-- Monica and Catherine were so attentive to our needs! The servers seemed to be new and still learning, so that is where there could be some room for improvement, but with the current environment, its so hard to hold on to employees, so I definitely don't hold that against them! Definitely recommend this sweet venue for kid or adult parties :)

Unfriendly, offensive place. Spoilt my jovial Sunday. I came in single for a Sunday breakfast. After i ordered and left a generous 15% tip at the prepaid counter, the hostess refused me seating at any of the 3 available tables and gestured i use the reclusive counters in the back of the sitting areas..arguably because they save the ‘tables’ for larger groups. All the while a lighter skin male enjoyed a leisurely meal ‘at the table’ scrolling away at his phone. The hostess suggested ‘some’ tables can be used by not-large-group customers. She apologized for coming off as “..” but did nothing to serve. I changed my order to takeout and asked for a refund on the difference and a cancellation on the tip. Don’t support this business. Please.

Awesome little spot: good vibes, food and drinks! They even had highchairs for my twins and the mini donuts were the perfect (delicious) distraction for them which meant my husband and I got to chat. The place was busy (which always means it's good) but the counter/ drink makers were so sweet and the line moved quick. Paper straws, glass bottles, and hints of hippo...will definitely be back!
