This used to be a great place to eat. Yesterday I ordered the french onion soup. The cheese was not melted over the top. It was inside in a small ball??? Not much cheese and I had three small pieces of onion in a lukewarm broth. I guess it was hot at one time as cheese was a little ball? Terrible!! This is their $6.99 soup. I went to swipe a fry from my friend and it drooped. I asked for a to go container for soup and complained of soup temperature and the uncooked fries, which they offered to fix but I was over it and took the containers. We ended up paying over $30 plus tip for cold soup, side salad - med-well patty melt (burnt on outside and raw inside) and fries that needed to be fried. This place used to have good food. What happened??

Lately unfortunately I haven’t had the best experiences here :( the staff is super friendly which makes this review difficult. However, todays take out order resulted in this review. My coworkers like to eat here and after some experiences I have been bailing on them when they get take out and just going somewhere else. Today I wanted a grilled cheese. So I said why not. I picked up the order and the staff again; was very friendly. I got back to the office and me and my coworker went to eat, and both of our grilled cheese sandwiches were burnt. Now one might ask, why didn’t I call the restaurant. Well because likely they would tell me I could come back and get new orders but I just didn’t have the time for that today. So I wanted to leave this review, because maybe they could talk to the person who 1. Made the sandwiches and 2. Packed them in the containers. Why would you serve someone burnt sandwiches???

I will be reaching out to a manager about this issue today — last night (June 10th, 2022) at 7 PM, I called this location to place a pick-up order. I gave plenty of time and showed up at 7:40 to pick up my order. There were three young women at the counter and none of them acknowledged me for several minutes. When someone finally decided to ask me how I could be helped, I let them know I was picking up an order for Stephanie. No one at the counter had any idea what I was talking about, and then finally after some internal deliberation, the woman who I was on the phone with said “well I can put your order in now” and that she didn’t when I called. There was no apology or ownership of the mistake and absolutely no sense of urgency to get the order to me. I let them know that I didn’t have time to wait, that I placed my order 40 minutes ago and that it would have been ready at this point. All 3 workers just stared at me. This was a supremely disappointing experience and I believe that the new staff needs better training and communication/customer service skill development because this was completely unacceptable and embarrassing behavior. I have never had this experience in over 15 years of coming here.

I have only been here, second time. My wife has been here a few times before. Overall, the beef brisket was delicious. I think my wife enjoyed more than I did. She got a egg and works sandwich. Very good too. The service is very well organized. Helpful and friendly. At the end, everything was great. Thank you for asking.

The food is good but always having to swat flies away. I understand they come in with people but you would think when the restaurant is closed for the night they would hang fly ribbons around and take them down in the morning. Too bad the dumpster is so close to the restaurant. On a good note, all the employees are super friendly and pleasant.
