Countryside Citrus

I just happened to be driving down the street this evening in downtown Vero Beach, and I stumbled upon this little gem. Countryside fresh citrus and El Sid Taqueria all in one. What a treat! Fresh orange juice slushees with ice cream, combined with tacos that come very close to authentic Mexican taquerias…and they have shrimp tacos! 🍤+🌮 = 😋!! There’s a taco truck, cinnamon buns, sauces for sale, and outdoor dining. This place is awesome! The food is delicious and the service was absolutely tops. The young people working here obviously have fun. Dine here or take out. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Overall, the staff seemed friendly but not very busy. It was a slow evening. I imagine the kitchen staff was reduced given the times. Unfortunately, the order took over 30 minutes. Two orders of Tacos and chips. They were good, but room temp. It felt like they forgot our order mid-way and the food sat somewhere. Tortilla strips were fresh (or reheated..but still really good). We tipped 30% when placing the order just because the cashier was exceptionally friendly.. had high expectations. It would have been helpful to have someone come to us as we patiently waited to say "hey folks, orders coming...sorry for the wait." We felt like an afterthought. I see a lot of replies to these reviews that sound very sincere, so I hope this comment is taken as friendly, constructive and with good intent. The pandemic has definitely affected the service industry, but there are always opportunities to improve. Good luck getting your rhythm back!

Had to try this place and I am so glad I did! My girlfriend and I ordered margaritas, chips and pico, and tacos! The margaritas were delicious and the tacos were fresh and made to perfection! The chips were fresh and delicious and the pico was full of flavor! For sure my favorite stop for tacos and margaritas ! Highly recommend!

I had high expectations based on the reviews, but the food is nothing special. This is supposed to be a made to order restaurant and the food wasn’t fresh. I ordered directly inside the restaurant and the food was served practically cold! It wasn’t even warm. In addition, the tacos were SO TINY, that you probably need to eat four to be satisfied and there was hardly any meat in it either. I know I can make better tacos at home. The only decent item i had was the queso dip in terms of flavor. But again, way too SMALL for $6. The queso should be half price or less for that tiny cup size. I have no idea what people are raving about because this restaurant is extremely overpriced for the mediocre portions you get…I’ll be making my own tacos rather than having leftovers at this place…
