This place was so delicious!! We started with the smashed fingerlings in butter and garlic, so good and great start! Food is fresh, and full of flavor. We got the Baha burger and chicken sandwich. Each meal comes with a salad in an amazing dressing and chips or upcharge for fries. Menu is not massive, but has something for everyone
Decent place with a very cozy decor. I had the salt and pepper chicken for appetizers and it was delicious especially with the ranch and the other sauce. My friends had burgers and the french fries were phenomenal. They also gave us complimentary pita chips with hummus and I can definitely say I've never tasted pita chips so crispy and tasty. Welcoming staff and friendly waitress.
Love the atmosphere and the food was really good! The staff was super friendly. They were very accommodating- we asked for our burger cut in half and all our sauces on the side & they did it!

By far the best customer service I have received. I ordered chicken with the dressing on the side. They brought it with the dressing on the chicken and without me saying anything said that a new one is being made and that this incorrect one is for the table. After, offered to buy the entire table dessert. We nicely declined and they offered for me to take one home. I still nicely declined. The server came back with a "Free drink on us" card for next time. They went above and beyond to ensure I was okay with the mistake they made. Really great food, atmosphere and AMAZING customer service!
I've had a great experience here every time. Great food! from me ordering a burger to my girl ordering some of their healthier items, all taste great! Staff was always friendly and our waitress was really kind and attended everything we requested and had no problem answering any questions. A place I will def come back to.
Making our way through all the new restaurants in Mellody Farms- we had arrived just outside Next Door. While mulling over the menu hanging near the front door, this huge smile came out and said “come on guys, you are just a few more steps away from good food”. Of course we went in. The atmosphere is very much like “Friends meets Cheers” next to the hostess table is a rack of varies types of board games. I felt like we just walked into my favorite uncles home. Very laid back- open kitchen. Our server created such a rapport with us I wanted him to pull up a seat and join us. We had a burger and a bowl. It was tasty and unique. 5 stars. Will be sure to return to check out the dinner vibe. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience here this evening. Our server was very attentive--with my high maintenance mother and my two small, demanding tiny humans no less! Seriously, she was great, I wish I could remember her name. Anyway, I loved the menu, it was hard for me to choose! Which isn't something I can say very often, as I am mostly vegan and always gluten free but I do eat cheese here and there. So many healthy, fresh and unique options. My husband reported his meal was excellent, and my mom sort of liked hers but she is impossible to please. Admittedly, her burger was very overcooked as was my daughter's, which looking at other reviews they need to straighten this issue out. The main knock was my arugala salad--I liked it, and it would have been better except that two of the main ingredients (roasted mushrooms and cauliflower) were completely non existent. Like, two tiny roasted mushrooms, and zero cauliflower. I sent it back and they added roasted cauliflower. I didn't realize the mushrooms were almost non existent until after they brought it back and I didn't want to send it back again. I definitely wouldn't chose it again, but there were tons of other options that sounded awesome. The food also came out in record time, and there is a fun space outside for kids to play. All in all I will be back when we are in the area I would love it if they would open a location in Evanston!!
This place is phenomenal! The environment is great and the food is even better, but by far, the best part of the experience was the service and the people themselves. They were both personable and enjoyable to talk to, and we will definitely be back soon! They all deserve raises, an order of magnitude.
The menu is pretty limited-they have double the amount of alcohol versus food. Besides that, the food was good but a little over priced for the portion size. Service was good and speedy, everything was correct. The atmosphere is very hipster-like but overall a good experience. I would go again.
Food and service was fantastic!! Jenna was our server and extremely friendly, provided delicious suggestions and knew the menu very well. We sampled many shareable dishes and loved them all. The chef, Josh brought us an Ancho chile chicken bowl that was a roller coaster of flavors! And Tito brought us a dessert to celebrate a birthday. Highly recommend. Best service in Vernon Hills!
Very friendly staff, food was served quickly. Clean, great atmosphere. Had the impossible burger. By far, this has been the best plant based burger I've ever had. They have me as a faithful customer when craving for a burger.
