We love this local gem and appreciate a good place to eat and hang out nearby. If you want fancy this is not your spot and they are short staffed recently, however, the food is great and the atmosphere is fun. If your food takes a bit longer than you want to come out, enjoy a craft beer or cocktail and visit the awesome fully stocked salad bar! The steaks have had to go up in price but are still some of the very best I have had! Also, Dani the bartender is bomb! ❤️
Rip's Place has good home grown burgers and steaks. Their pizza is on par with most bar made pizza.
We stopped by at 830pm and thought they were closed. We had attentive service, the mushroom/Swiss burger and nachos were delicious and definitely did not disappoint. Very reasonable prices. Two of us were stuffed, had a beer and leftovers for $23 + tip. 😊

Small restaurant /bar in the town of Vermontville. Simple items are served, sandwiches, salads, chicken and steak. Not a fancy place but the food is good. We had the onion blossom that easily fed 4 people, a huge taco salad and a portobello Swiss burger with homemade chips. Friends had steak and baked potatoes and said it was good. They have a small salad bar that had a lot of choices on it. Their fish is great and always on the menu.
Customers outside were mildly rude....
But amongst all the line dancers, customer smiling and eating with family. I was taken care of immediately. Ordered a beer at the bowling alley bar, then shortly after my delicious, and juicy wonderfully tasty medium cooked burger arrived. I didn't leave a scrap of lettuce on my plate. The onions, pickles, and lettuce were fresh n crisp! Thanks for a great meal.. I was referred here by a friend, she had fried pickles, said they are great. Next time I will eat them! I will recommend here to others!
We stopped in by chance after a wrestling tournament. I love to check out locally owned places. And we were NOT disappointed. The entire staff is fabulous. The cook even assured we were happy with our food. The burgers are huge hand made Patty's with great flavor thru the entire burger. My my husband got a double and he could barely fit it in his mouth. So I cannot imagine a triple! Great place great food great atmosphere. I would make the drive from Lansing to eat there again!
The steak was perfectly cooked exactly what we had asked for. Friendly staff and very attentive.
We go here for DJ TRIVIA it is a blast. Wait staff does there best but are pretty short staffed. Food is good they have a terrific salad ++ bar
Always great food, whether take out or dining in it has always been good, you definitely have to get the pretzel balls for an appetizer, served with beer cheese, oh soooo good! Fish fry on friday is a big hit and so are the burgers, be sure to order your burger on a pretzel bun!!! Can't go wrong
The food took a while to come out but it was worth the wait. Given that they were very busy tonight. Service was great. Very friendly staff. Awesome atmosphere!
