Review Midtown Cafe - Ventura

Health food doesn't really describe this place, though you can definitely get healthy stuff. The coffee is excellent and the food and desserts are delicious. Nice cozy atmosphere. You might wait a few minutes for your food, so be prepared.

First time today, it has a very cozy atmosphere, really kitschy and cute. The lady at the counter was working by herself but she managed to juggle the load really well, she even remembered my name when I was leaving. Delicious fruit smoothies, I got the strawberry banana and it tastes like how my mom used to make. Definitely recommend this place to vegetarians and there's even a few vegan options on the menu. I will be coming back very soon.

The food is amazing and the atmosphere is even better. Imagine hanging out at a friends house sharing a meal and a cup of coffee in a relaxed no rush atmosphere, well this is what you'll find at midtown cafe. The vibe along with the fresh organic foods brings me back over agian.

Had an excellent breakfast here when staying in Ventura for a few days. Some kind of pepper jam and cream cheese toast? Highly recommend! Cute funky spot with good ambiance to work for a while.

I love Midtown Cafe. I especially love the specials. They're always lovingly conceived and well-executed. The other day when I was waiting for my food the chefs were kind enough to bring out several different things for me to sample. I thought the customer service was extraordinary. Don't forget to try the Clen shot! It's very invigorating.

Love the breakfast wrap, can eat half and take half home. Dirty Chai and cappuccinos come with heavenly foam. Added avocado to our wraps and that really upped the total on the bill. Still my favorite brisket place

Really yummy, healthy food. Gluten free bread available. Yummy lattes . Order at counter. Relaxed vibe good for coffee house, but not a lot of tables to eat at. They do a lot of take-out. I ordered a pastami kimchee sandwich.. lots if different grill cheese sandwiches on the menu.

Never would I guess I would enjoy something called "PB&J Oatmeal" - but this dish at Midtown Cafe is excellent. The coffee is good, but the food is the highlight. Small and relaxing spot.
