I’ve been coming to Tacos Mendoza for a lot of years even with all the owner changes the food has always stayed the same….. Delicious Food is always ready in 10 mins. from phone order even when they are busy. Best tacos in Ventura County. I’m going to let everyone in on a couple of the best off the menu items. Kids burritos are $2 only spot that has them and the are perfect size for the kids. Sopes, best I’ve ever had or ever will have. I stand by that statement. The masa is cooked perfectly not rubbery like other places. The sope is a meal in itself for $4.16 comes with beans , meat of your choice, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, sour cream, guacamole. The cost to feed a family here is less than eating at any fast food place. Why have fake food that takes longer than real food that is made fast? We’ve been coming here for almost a year now and they have the best Mexican food I’ve ever had and I’m not exaggerating. Their grilled meats are so flavorful and juicy. Our favorite is the Al pastor, but the chicken and carne asada is bomb. They had birria as a special and it was insanely tender and flavorful. Their burritos and quesadillas are phenomenal. I’m a huge fan of their nachos mainly because they have the best homemade chips I’ve ever had. The salsa bar has a nice variety and the salsas are on point. If you’ve never tried this place and are ever craving Mexican food, you must give Tacos Mendoza a shot!

Can't beat a 2.00 carne asada beef tacos. Plus many more varieties for 2 bucks. Burritos, full plates with rice and beans. There is a nice salsa bar with salsa and Pico de gallo and delicious homemade chips that are free! The staff is friendly and there is plenty of easy access parking and seating. The tacos have a generous portion of meat and are very good.
