Review Uncle Gino's Pizza & Ristorante - Ventnor City

Updated July 2023 Great food. Great service. Huge menu. BYOB. Outside seating. Aug 1, 2020 Went last night for pick up. The service: WecWe and they said it would be 1 - 1-1/2 hours, which we were fine with. Went at the time it was supposed to be ready and it was packaged perfectly in a large heavy duty carry box. Everything in the order was correct. Everything was piping hot even when we got home (about 10 minute drive) The food: The shrimp fra diavolo was excellent. One of the top we've ever had. The linguini was cooked perfectly and the gravy was so delicious. Spicy, but not overpowering. The chicken parmesan was excellent. The very top of the cheese was brown and crispy and it was amazing. The linguini and clams were unbelievable. There were so many clams even to the end there was clams in every bite. You get about a dozen+ clams in shell plus more in the gravy. Did not care for the chicken noodle soup. Ps. This was our first time here and we'll definitely be back. I have no affiliation with this restaurant.

I am obsessed with this place. A neighbor of ours recommended it and it’s exactly the kind of place I’d been missing in my life since I was a kid. NJ pizza shops slap HARD, but Uncle Gino’s slaps harder. Everything they make is delicious, and the quality is always 10/10. They’re super reliable and quick, and they always are available for a later meal time. Pasta dishes, dinners, pizza, the carrot cake! You name it, it’s delicious.

Local Spot in Ventnor! This little place has a huge menu. It makes one wonder where in the world do they keep the ingredients. Pizzas, Sandwiches, Pasta, Cheesesteaks, Wings, Tacos, etc. we just could not decide so we ordered the pizza, a burger, and a cheesesteak sandwich. The food is made to order, except for the pizzas of the day. Everything that came to the table was hot and fresh. The pizza was so huge the top and bottom of it would not fit on the plate. The crust was airy and crispy. Perfect Crunch! The burger was char-grilled to perfection. The cheesesteak, I ordered the half, was very good and seasoned well. Our waitress Beth was great. It was not crowded and the food came out quick. Great prices! We thoroughly enjoyed this place. They even deliver to the beach for free! The only issue is their soda policy. The restaurant policy is that patrons pay an extra $2.99 for a soda to go, when patrons have paid for soda while eating there. Most restaurants will just allow patrons to take a soda to go for no charge especially when patrons have already paid for a soda to eat in.

Just moved from California and The Pizza was a Welcome meal from my Mom. The Pizza was Fabulous and I will be going back again. Wonderful Atmosphere!!!;

When I walked in I was greeted very friendly .told I could sit outside table sidewalk was very nice .the pizza was incredible I think is the water at the beach makes the dough so good.had chicken Ala Norma with spaghetti so delicious!waitress was very busy but made sure we had everything we needed .really made a nice visit to the beach.

Order a slice of pizza, French fires with whiz and a chicken sandwich -1A, all of it was delicious! The waitress was friendly and served with a smile. The pizzeria was clean and cozy. No smoking 🚭 TG. It looks like there are seats outside however they were power washing the outside when we visited. I would highly recommend this shop!

Very good pizza. Pick up process was disorganized. I paid and no one handed me the pizza. After awhile I asked the pizza maker. It was ready all along. Need a better pick up system but pie was excellent.

A staple in my Shore spots for a surely tasty meal. Good pizza, good sandwiches, GREAT staff - they cover the bases well. It can get busy, but takeout is always smooth for me - even when they are packed.

We stopped here after our beach trip to ventnor before heading home. Very good food for adults and kids, fair prices too. Great for gluten free folks. I had the Buffalo chicken tenders and a broccoli cheese Stromboli. Will be a frequent stop for us after the beach from now on!
