Sack O'subs

My family has been coming to Ventnor every summer for over 15 years. We always make a point to stop in for lunch or carryout at Sack O' Subs. Fresh, quality subs, friendly service, reasonable prices and fast prep time are what we have come to expect with every visit here. We look forward to going back every time.

Some of the negative reviews are kind of surprising as we've been coming to this location during summers for many years now and it's always been above average or better on all counts. The half-subs (aka hoagies :) are of quite ample portions and usually high quality ingredients; we like the cheese steaks & cold cuts subs. Eat in service is generally friendly also. I suppose every place as its bad days but we've not had one so we'll go back. I wish I could say the same for the Ballys casino location but alas, was there 3 days ago and their sub quality was lower & the dining area was absolutely disgusting! Will not go back there.

I love Sacko's. Best subs around. I always get the Sacko Special which is good as hell but today I got a cheese steak. I will honestly tell you its the best cheese steak I've gotten outside of Philly. Lots of meat, great bread, Peppers onions and mushrooms, can't beat it. The onion rings and birch beer are a great side to any sandwich

This place doesn't need my review. Sack Of" Subs is such a Ventnor staple and so we'll patronized that they take their phone off the hook during the busiest days of the summer. Fortunately, they are open all year. Everything is made fresh. They have a fantastic take out business. They offer daily soups and specials. The portions are awesome. We love Sack O' Subs.

Sandwiches were pretty good. Thought initially that the prices seemed a little high. Then the food showed up and we saw that a "half" was the size of what normal sub shops would consider a whole sub (footlong?) wish someone had mentioned that when they saw how much food we were ordering for my kids. We basically had 2 meals' worth of food. Meetball subs make terrible leftovers.

Way nicer than White Wash, staff greet you upon entering, clear area for you to sit or take your order immediately. They are fast, efficient and by far one of the best organized and cleanest places to take out or eat in. Don't waste your time on that disorganized White House unless you like waiting around for nothing.
