Waterford Golf Club - Venice - Photo album

I had a fabulous time playing Waterford. There are 27 holes broken up into three 9-hole courses. The staff was very friendly and accommodating on check in. The carts, practice range, and course were all in great shape. The Sawgrass course was both fun and challenging. Our back 9 was Gleneagles
Played Sawgrass and Gleneagles on a weekday at 11:30. Clubhouse and starter were super and we got on tee right on time. Sawgrass is relatively tight, so tee shots need to be in the fairways. Course is in pretty good condition and greens looked nice and rolled well. Gleneagles is more wide open and
Both first time playing this course.. Made a quick turnaround tee time, got to Waterford quite early to find out they have a driving range to practice on. My dreams were answered. I then found out that the golf pro Charlie Darbyshire is my cousin's brother-in-law. He was in attendance on this Friday
The course is spread out around housing so some fairways are narrow. Carts are highly recommended due to the distance between some holes. Course is well maintained except for the sand traps... like a COVID thing. Some of the grass is pretty tall.
What a great place with great people! We love going there every Sunday for breakfast (Joey is our favorite server) and at least using the driving range and usually we end up playing there! Great place for my in-laws to move into 😊
Good staff. Busy place. Three 9 hole courses (Sawgrass, Turnberry, and Gleneagles). I like Turnberry the best (although beware on the score card for hole 8. They have it as a dog leg right, but it's actually a dog leg left, then over a tree guarding the right side of the green). Sawgrass is accessed
Pretty fun course to play. Worth the $80. Great layout and pretty good staff.
Visiting a relative, great place to walk and see all kinds of birds and some alligators.
The staff are awesome and the course is always kept in great shape, they must have an awesome Superintendent and grounds staff. I like playing here also because they host a lot of tournaments for the community organizations and staff. Although I'm not a member, they treat me with such kindness and
Good time for all Played as a single 3/11/2022 got paired with a few great guys (members), they were helpful.. as were the staff. Hit a bucket the day before on the nice driving range and everyone was friendly and helpful that time as well. Good layout - I played Turnberry and Sawgrass. The greens w
The staff is very professional and friendly. The price is reasonable for the very good quality of the entire course from tees to greens, which roll smoothly and true, at good speed. The course is fairly wide open, not tight, more forgiving than the wonderful Misty Creek. Pace of play is good, better
Solid 4-star establishment. Perhaps the nicest surprise of our recent trip, overall sense that maintenance has improved (it was nice before, now just more refined). Think they’ve increased watering, not as rock hard on fairways. Greens have always been true, seem healthier now. Sufficient charac
Course is fantastic...staff was great..will go back...
I don’t understand the bad review about Andrew? Andrew is the man! For how crazy busy they were today he was able to squeeze us in today. Andrew and the Waterford team had everything running very efficiently! Course was in good shape especially the greens!
DJ'd an event for a High School Graduation on Saturday May 26, 2018. Used their event clubhouse. Nice convenient small location. Courteous staff, well accessible bar with variety. Only downsides: main entrance has undercover area, but only stairs accessible, not wheelchair accessible. But has 2 othe
Andrew + Brad are always super helpful and courteous. I signed up as a member a few months ago and I'm more than happy with my decision. Course is challenging and fun to play.
Outstanding staff. Fun course. Wonderful experience.
