Bodrum Restaurant

We went with 2 other couples looking for good food and a place where we could enjoy conversation. We were not disappointed! We all loved our shared appetizers, wine, each of our entrees, and our shared desserts. The staff was friendly and served us well, especially Lisa. The atmosphere was clean, pleasant and good for conversation. You can sit indoors or outside under cover. We sat indoors. We plan to return and take others. You should try it!

8-23 update yep, just as good as always. Best parking is in back. 9-2022 update. Pro tip, lunch menu on back of menu all offerings are amazing. Can get side salad sub for fries. 8-4-22 update. Same thing perfect light lunch with a nice Turkish coffee to finish. Sat outside for a business lunch and it was very pleasent despite it being Aug in south FL. Seriously, if you're reading this just go there. If you like this food they do an amazing job! 5-10-22 update, just a good as always. More outside seating, increased prices, but reasonable. ----- All great! People, service, food quality! It is clean food. Not too heavy and very fresh flavors! It is boldly authentic which is nice to see in Venice. Try it if you like authentic you will like it.

A Memorable Anniversary Celebration with a Slight Hiccup at Bodrum Mediterranean Restaurant We recently visited Bodrum Mediterranean Restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, and it was a delightful experience with a small setback. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, which set the perfect mood for our special occasion. We started off by ordering two appetizers of the day, which were presented beautifully and tasted divine. For our main course, we had the lamb chop and the steak. Both dishes were cooked to perfection, and the flavors were rich and delicious. We could tell that the chef put a lot of effort into creating these dishes. The service throughout our meal was on point and effective. Our waiter was attentive, making sure our water glasses were always filled, and our needs were met. It was after the main course that we experienced a minor issue. We ordered baklava, a traditional Mediterranean dessert, to finish off our meal. The dessert was delightful and up to this point, we would have given the restaurant a 5-star rating. However, our waiter brought the check to our table after we received the dessert, saying "no rush." We appreciated the sentiment but were surprised when, not even five minutes later, the waiter approached our table and grabbed the check. My wife was still enjoying her dessert, and we hadn't even looked at the check yet. We reminded him that he had said "no rush" earlier, and asked why he seemed to be rushing us now. Visibly surprised, he responded, "I am not rushing you!" We couldn't help but feel that he was definitely rushing us. Despite this small issue, we will definitely return to Bodrum Mediterranean Restaurant. The food is simply too good to pass up. We hope that our next visit will be a flawless experience, but even with the hiccup, we had a memorable anniversary dinner.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends at the Bodrum Restaurant the other night. The food was absolutely amazing, fresh and flavorful Mediterranean experience for our first time eating here and we will be back next trip down. I tried to capture the food with the photos but you have to really come taste for yourself to get the full flavor experience. Oh, and the service is on point! Five stars for this little Venice GEM!

The meat platter entree was enough food for two, the lamb and beef were delicious while the chicken portion was the smallest was just ok. the location in Venice is good but there is some construction going on repairing hurricane damage but don't let that stop you from going in. We will be back to try additional menu items.
