Two Elk - Vail - Photo album

Two Elk Lodge in Vail (all on mountain dining). Where do I begin, how dare Vail charge $20 for the plate I received. It was supposed to be a cheese burger, but not entirely sure? Shame on you Vail Management, you have gotten to greedy. We have been epic pass holders for many years and I truly cannot
Spring skiing, powder day, mid April. Limited services, awesome snow! Great place to warm up.
23 dollar burger was good, and the people there were overwhelmed. A long line and trash piling up was a bad look for this top tier resort restaurant. Glad to hear that Vail is going to pay these kids a decent wage.
Basically no food options and they were all bad looking… I ordered a hot dog with no toppings or sides for $12.50, and once I sat down and actually took a bite I realized that not only was the bun rock solid from being so stale, but the bread was also moldy, which made it unsafe to eat. Yikes.
They have signage indicating pizza, burritos, salad, etc, but none was to be found at noon on a Friday. Only industrial grade grilled cheese sure to satisfy even the pickiest 4 year old's palate, thin overcooked burgers with tasteless cheese, or bland luke-warm chicken strips with floppy wet fries.
Lots of room is still not enough for the spring break crowds, and honestly one would expect more than chili and hot dogs for the Vail experience and price point
Poor selection of so so expensive food. Lines to get in, they make you have reservations then they sit us next to others we don't know with no distancing. I'm not worried about getting sick but the rules make no sense it seems like just covid theater
Vail virtue signaling. Have to make reservation for table for cafeteria style resturant. Had significantly less options to eat than previous years and blamed it on covid. Had to wait in line for about 15 min for the staff to check you in to get seated in a cafeteria. Had to have proof of vaccin
