Review Tahoe Joe's - Vacaville

The hospitality was great. The food was enjoyable. I was dining in, and had everyone evenly spread out. Peaceful and quiet also. 👌🏻

What a sad sad experience. They were severely understaffed and not at all prepared for Valentine's weekend. Out of Potatoes, Out of prime rib, out of desserts and the poor servers were over worked trying to cover patio dining and the large volume of take out orders. When my rob eye steak arrived, I took one bite and I was done. It tasted like it was marinated in band aids and had a very distinctive rubberized flavor. My mashed potatoes were mostly butter and sour cream... im guessing they were trying to stretch whatever amount they had left for the other guests since they were out mostly everything. We just asked for boxes and the check to get out of there. I have to say our server deserved a big round of applause and every bit of the generous tip she earned! She was literally running ragged and doing an amazing job. Amber, this one star rating is for the restaurant and lousy management. You my dear are a 5 ☆ server and you did a tremendous job. You deserve better employment than Tahoe Joes. And you were the one bright blessing in the disgraceful experience we encountered. Thank you for your hard work and positivity.

First time at any Tahoe Joe's. The specialty steaks, specialty salads & sandwiches were pricey. I was getting something to go for dinner. There was Calamari on the app menu & it sounded really good & it was. I was surprised how big the piece was. It was a perfect amount & I made a salad to go with it. I would definitely get it again. The lady that took my order over the phone was also the " to go " lady. She was working by herself & it was kind of busy. She did a great job & was very nice. [ I can't remember her name ] No senior d/c but they do have a military d/c which is nice.

I love this place! The steaks are great. Appetizers are unique and delicious. My kids go wild for the sourdough biscuits. They have a good liquor selection, too. Let's support local businesses! Order dinner to go. You won't be disappointed. Also, make sure you visit in the fall sometime. Their pumpkin martinis are wonderful according to my wife.

Service was good, but the Steak quality has dropped. I ordered the 20 oz. Rib eye but was only able to eat about half due to toughness. They did take 50% off .

Amidst the covid-19 pandemic. We were able to have lunch on their patio. The patio faces West and warms up quite nicely in the afternoon sun. This is particularly helpful during cold November and December days.

First time there, GREAT food GREAT service, our server was IRIS, she was an outstanding, one of the BEST we have ever had, very helpfull need more like her!! Based on reviews we visited Tahoe Joe’s Steak House Restaurant. They don’t take reservations but do accept call ins for the wait list. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. The food was tasty, hot and prepared as requested. The wine list was limited but of good quality at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Amber was absolutely amazing!!! Too the time to triple check our to go order all with a smile in her eyes!!!
