This was the first local business I visited when moving to Upland for college. Since then I come back all the time for the beautiful atmosphere, fantastic coffee, and best avocado toast I’ve ever had. Whenever people come to town to visit me this is the first place I bring them! Something about the place makes you feel right at home. The workers are always so kind, the food and drinks are high quality, and the decor make you want to sit and admire the shop for hours. This is a great place to work on homework or have a coffee date. I always miss it when I leave town!
This cafe is a truly special place. I have never encountered a business so dedicated to their community – hosting markets, showcasing wares and artworks from local creators, supporting small farms, and welcoming ALL patrons (as a mom of young kids this was especially meaningful to me). And I greatly appreciate that they maintain consistent, extensive open hours (in rural Indiana this is hard to come by). Beyond that, they are committed to quality in all facets. The menu is creative, fresh and extremely delicious (I could eat the Green Goddess every day and not get tired of it, sooo good) and the ingredients are top notch. The staff is absolutely wonderful and I was inspired by the way they went above and beyond to pull through this very difficult year. Less than 10 min off of I-69 — highly recommend going out of your way to visit.
I’m here 2-3 times a week. Great food and drinks and I love the atmosphere. I always schedule my meetings here because I know it’s going to be a good experience. I also love they have a rewards program that’s easy to earn points for and I’m always getting coupons. Plus trivia nights are super fun!
Loved their coffee so much that I bought a bag of beans to brew at home. Definitely worth it. The coffee is smooth and has great taste!
Such a wonderful and sweet place! The atmosphere is lovely! We ordered ahead and were able to pick up our food and eat it outside. They are sustainable and aesthetic and kind!

I am seldom left speechless but this place absolutely took the words right out of my mouth and replaced them with heavenly goodness.
I took two others with me. My friends both had the breakfast sandwich and I had the Italian. Coffee, pumpkin spice latte and pain au chocolat for dessert. Fresh, local and delicious! The bread was so soft, the vegetables tasted like they were picked right out of the garden, fresh mozzarella and tomatoes.... WOW.
The service was excellent as well. You could tell they loved being there. The atmosphere was very calming with music and art all about.
If you are in this beautiful little town or just passing by the vicinity, this is a must-visit oasis for a proper repose.
