This place is good and small. It depends on what day you go that you will get good service. If you go durring the lunch time they have plenty of specials. Plenty amount of food and also they renovated the parking lot, that's a plus
Good food. I have been eating at China Moon since the 80's and I think it's the best Chinese food in SAN Antonio.
My wife and I decided to eat here for dinner. I had the spicy beef and my wife had a seafood plate. The spicy beef was very good - with a large portion too. My wife thought the seafood was not fresh at all and she didn't enjoy her plate. The service was nice and the waitress came around just when we needed her - like magic. The staff are nice, and the food was good, but just avoid the seafood maybe.
Awsome place!. This place rocks! It was very cheap and good. The good food that i had was fried rice. My dad got the lemon chicken and my brother got general tso's chicken. If you go there, You usually don't have to wait for a bit, but it is worth it. If you would get the vegetable fried rice, The plates are a large portion and well worth the price. One of the cheapest Chinese food places in town and good food. Yes the owner need to put some money back into the place to update the decor. Some times it does get dirty but with the amount of staff to keep expenses down to keep the money in the food..
Average Americanized Chinese food. Big portions, low price. Nothing special, nothing horrid.
Awesome!. We drove from San Antonio to eat at "Youse Guys" down the street but they were closed. As an alternative we stopped at China Moon. The food was excellent! I don't know what the negative reviewers are talking about but I would totally go back. It was great quality. Very fresh and yummy.
It's Easy!. Some places are just easy to eat at, and China Moon definitely qualifies.
Traditional dishes prepared the traditional way at prices everyone can afford. Everything on the menu is good and when you order it, it comes out fast, is plenty hot, and the little girls that work here always have a smile on. This all adds up to an easy, fast, satisfying, and affordable lunch or dinner.
Its also easy to find, and parking is a breeze. I guess that just makes this place easy.
The General chicken is really good. Dinner servings are huge. Good service.
Yummy General Chicken!. Crunchy and nicely glazed general chicken, my boyfriend had their fried rice and thought it was pretty decent too! Will go back!
The food was great! I purchased two family dinners. The shrimp in lobster sauce and the beef and broccoli. Please keep in mind that the pictures shown already have one HEFTY serving taken from each plate. These family dinners also came with a choice of two egg rolls or an order of rangoons. I also ordered a small egg drop and small hot and sour soup. Both also delicious. It was all about $35.00.
Stopped for lunch. This place is nice. Not too small and the décor is skimpy, but adequate and attractive.
Everything was hot and cooked to order. The egg rolls were great and the hot and sour soup was fantastic. My wife loved the egg drop soup and thought the egg rolls were the bomb!
Will be back since we live about 15 minute away.
Shop is quaint and not overly busy, but steady. Wait staff was attentive. I loved hearing the chef cooks everything fresh when ordered, even sauces! The tables were clean, but it seems to be old and rather neglected, some of the dirt/dust makes you cringe and not want to eat, but the food is excellent!

Food is pretty good for the lunch prices... this is one if the few places around that offers LUNCH SPECIALS UNTIL 5:00! the only reason they don't get a 5 star is because customer service varies depending on who's working that day.
