Review Generations A Restaurant - Uniontown

I would recommend Generations to anyone. The food was amazing (again), as well as the service. Oh, and don't forget the Angel Pie.

It's okay and they are open on Monday evenings when other "quality" independent dining options are closed. Very personable owners/staff located in an old home from the 19th century. Relaxed though staff was equally re"laxed". F.Y.I. for enophiles that wine selection is by the glass only @ $7.50 per glass (approx. 6-7oz.) though would not allow me to bring in bottles and I was willing to pay a corkage fee. Salad/soup course was good and included in the price of our entrees. We all had Veal Marsala @ $20. Very reasonable price for most entrees on their one sheet menu. We were the only party there this past Monday evening. Which made the NOISE from the kitchen annoying and somewhat comical as we could hear the cook pounding out each veal slice for our orders. Nice presentation though I found the sauce to be tasting of too much raw onion and sauce that also tasted of flour. Surprised to think onions were not caramelized and the (I imagine) the roux was not cooked long to brown and remove the raw flavors. $63 for the food and $45 for 2 cocktails and 4 glasses of Aussie Cab/Merlot wine. Its OK, but would rather drive to the Historic Summit Inn, The Stonehouse Restaurant & Inn, Caporella's or drive to Morgantown. First and only for this establishment.

Our first time here and the food was good. The waitress was extremely pleasant and helpful. Presentation could use a bit of work but overall a good experience.

Small as it is, this is a wonderful place to eat. The menu is not large but the food and ambience are very nice. There is a fireplace in one of the dining rooms and a bar in the back of the building.

I have not eaten there in a while, but when we did, food was over priced. It was very good.

Amazing veal and chicken dishes! My fav place to eat! It isn't too expensive and the desserts are all homemade! A++++

Ron and Ann know how to cook their filet and chicken parm. Excellent family-owned cooking and hospitality.

This wasn't the first time my sister and I had been at this restaurant, but it has been a few years. Our meal was simply ok, but certainly not worth the price. We had s party of 10 which we called prior to see if they could accommodate us. It was my sister with her family, our parents, and my family of 4. The service we received was terrible! We waited an hour for our food and our drinks were never refilled, and never offered dessert or anything else. They literally took the order and brought out the food. After waiting about 20 minutes if not longer for the check I went to go find our waitress. They did tell us she was having a family emergency which we completely understood. However when our checks came they still charged us 20% gratuity for each check. When we questioned it and explained politely of our unhappiness with the service and questioned why we didn't have another waitress taking care of us nothing was done about it. They told us we could have free dessert next time we come in. My mom then realized she was charged twice for an appetizer. We also questioned this when leaving. Our waitress started screaming at us. We tried explaining that we understood about the family emergency but we should have been given another waitress. She screamed "screw you" and "get out" along with some other things. She just kept yelling and the owner just stood there. We were told they are all related. I then said "maybe that's why your parking lot is empty". I can't believe how we were attacked and treated. I strongly advise anyone not to go to this restaurant. Shame on them for running their business so poorly and allowing customers to be treated like this. It will be reported!

We were a group of 5. Each dinner was delicious and well presented. Our waitress was attentive but gave us space. The dessert cake was very special and quite tasty. I'm glad that the food is always good and their quality hasn't changed over the years.

The Resturant is the best. Great food & really great owners. I have eaten their food for over 20 yrs.

I love this restaurant. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxing. It's so nice to have options other than chain restaurants. Everyone is so nice and always accommodates our larger family group.

Generations is a beautiful, relaxing eating experience. Every one of the homemade meals I've sampled have been delicious (with my favorite being the crab cakes!!) The service is wonderful!!

It is hard to get a steak cooked the way I like it anywhere in Uniontown. But Generations does it right every time. Wonderful restaurant, friendly staff, and great ownership makes it work.

Is the best place on town! The food and service are excellent, they make you feel welcome �

The food was delicious and it is a very nice relaxing atmosphere! Will definitely have Dinner here again soon!
