We order some of the specialty drinks and it was tasty. Except it had to much ice so it was hard to get to the toppings.

A quality banh mi place! A little pricier than your average banh mi place, but worth it because all their meats are cooked fresh with such flavor!
Highly recommend getting BM1 (House special grilled pork banh mi) or BM2 (Grilled chicken). Meat is tender and flavorful, the baguette is toasted perfectly! Sandwiches are a bit thinner than your normal banh mi but slightly longer. What better way to pair your sandwich with some spring rolls and viet coffee?! The viet coffee is strong (will really wake you up) and sweet. The egg rolls (pork and taro) are SO GOOD! 1 order only comes with 3 though, slightly pricey but worth a try.
All their drinks come with free 3 toppings! I would skip the milk teas though, they are a bit watery. Definitely make your own che instead, if you wanted something sweet.
There is a $10 minimum to use card or else you'll get charged a small fee!

A good place for drinks. We got a halo halo and enjoyed the drink. We also got a durian shake but it was very icy.

I got the banh min with grilled pork. It was okay good. The bread was fresh and crispy without being crazy hard where it rips up the top of your mouth. Taste-wise it didn’t feel like the standard banh mi you would get elsewhere. It felt more American and sandwichy. But it was fine. I also got a peach and lychee fruit tea with boba. It was about average. There was way too much ice, but was just standard otherwise.

I've been coming here since it opened, when the lady owner would man the counter while ?grandma was in the back. Used to be my favorite che and sandwich place. Haven't been in almost 2 years due to pandemic and travel. Just got che this past time and the quality of drinks definitely went downhill. Their special used to have a really wide variety of toppings, good amount of coconut milk. Avocado smash was the bomb too. This past visit, the drinks were watered down. There were fewer toppings, more ice. People were really nice, but food wasn't the same.
Will go back to try sandwiches and give the drinks another shot

The quality of the food has changed dramatically!!!!! The spring used to be so good, bigger and good quality for $5.75, it used to be at least 2 shrimps cut in half in each spring rolls. Now just 1 shrimp cut in half, and the roll is broken while it still in the string wraps 👎🏼 Seem like the person who made this is still learning how to wrap and roll. I want my money back!

I’m no chè connoisseur but dare I say this is my #1 che spot in the Bay Area! They’re fresh, balanced and so delicious. I always try to drop by this place whenever I’m mildly near Union City.
