My new favorite Indian place on the East Bay. Family-owned and friendly staff.
The lamb masala is full or flavor and the meat is perfectly tender. Highly recommended. I will be taking my family and friends here.

My boyfriend and I came here because of the yelp reviews. When we first arrived there was only one other group eating there. Curry King seems like a very quite spot.
We ordered one plain naan, one garlic naan, Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Vindaloo. The Lamb Vindaloo was really spicy. My boyfriend, who can eat a good amount of spice, even said that it was spicy. The lamb was very soft and good. The Chicken Tikka Masala wasn't the best one that I've had. The naans were also just mediocre. I was expecting the garlic naan to be infused with garlic flavor but it really was just garlic pieces on top of the naan. The naans were huge though!
I would give this place another chance and try something else.

For the price, Curry King is good. I had the Pakora appetizer, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Palak, Chicken Jalfrezi, and a side of garlic naan. The lamb palak was not incredible, neither was the pakora. The masala was good but I feel like trying a different place next time.

This is one of my regular Indian restaurants that I visit. It looks like it's run by a family and they're really nice. Whenever I bought food for takeout, they always offer me to get some Indian milk tea while I wait for the food. It's so delicious. My favorite is mattar paneer. It's a vegetarian curry with peas and curd cheese. I usually order some rice on the side, or with the bread.
But seriously though, I'm a huge carnivore. Any restaurant that can get me to eat vegetables is good in my book. Ok, I guess peas are hardly vegetables, but still :)

Thought that the Pakistani food woUld be good but the butter chicken was sour and the
garlic naan was bad. Not loving Pakfood, will stick to Indian food.

Apart from the amazing food the owners are really nice. Plus, they serve dessert on the house if you dine in, who does not want that? :)
