I used to love this place. I gave them 5 stars 2 years ago. But looks like times changed. I paid $17 for special roll and got this. 5 pieces, thin, messy.
Check photo!! Even in manhattan I can get better food for this price.
Looks like no more local food places for me.

Innovative options as well as the traditional classics. I really enjoyed the jalapeño tacos. Sounds like it’s going to be a mouth scorcher but it went down way easier than that. They did just as well on all of the standard “sushi place” food that we ordered.

Small and intimate little sushi place! The fried shumai and salmon was great! We also got the dragon and Manhattan roll everything was fresh and delicious

Had the Salmon and Ahi Tuna bow. Currently writing this as I am eating because it was so good and broke expectations. Union City/North Bergen isn’t known for a poke or this type of food, I was expecting bland and unripe ingredients. Mango, strawberry, lettuce and rice were great and appeared fresh, hopefully the next it is the same 🙌

Really liked this place, the outside seating was very charming. The staff super friendly. The food was super fresh. I was a little disappointed with the spicy sauce on my rolls... not spicy at all and also that they really didn't stack up on their drinking selections (only had like 3 types of drinks out of their menu options). Other than that, it was delicious. Also remember it's BYOB... no alcohol sold here. They are very accommodating.

Very solid sushi place. The sweet potato role is unique and super tasty. The one big issue with this restaurant is the beverage situation. The options are really limited (no Japanese sodas??) and served in the plastic bottle like you just bought it at a bodega… really not a good pairing for a refined sushi experience. The tap water tastes horrible - look, I live in the area so I know the water here is bad… but they need a filter. If you want ice with your drink the ice is even worse, tasted/smelled bad enough to overpower a glass of Coke. Love the sushi, hate the beverages. Please improve this y’all l, I like coming here but the drinks situation is so rough 😭

Great little neighborhood sushi spot. We live very close by and almost always order take out. Our orders are always fresh and ready when I arrive. Keep in mind its very small. The do have a few small tables indoors and one of those makeshift covid outdoor seating areas. The speciality rolls are a little expensive, but that’s usually the case at sushi places. Highly recommend the poke bowls. Rice, salad sushi and some fruit, all nicely layered.
