Was craving a cuban sandwich and was in the area so I decided to give it a try. I tried a couple of other cuban spots weeks before and their sandwich wasn't great. I'm happy to say this one was better. Also got a morir soñando which was great. My dad decided to get a small bag of churros (8 pieces)

We're from Maryland and were looking for a non-chain place to eat. The staff is very friendly, the food came out fast, and it was delicious. $35 for two people. Tapatio on every table. The churros tasted a little stale and like they needed more sugar or some cinnamon, but otherwise were good. Soda c

I'm never disappointed by El Artesano. I hadn't visited in some time and the food and service were on point. My mom and I had the Mofongo, my dad the Ropa Vieja (Tuesday special), and we had churros for dessert. All delicious.

Been around for ages serving great Cuban food. They have fresh made juices, lunch specials, fresh baked goods and tasty fried delights. One of the last of the Mohicans from the once mainly Cuban neighborhoods of Hudson County.

El artesano perfect place for an affordable, authentic cuban place. This is definitely a hidden gem in Union city and I rate this 100 out of 100. Every time I come here it’s a pleasurable experience, and the staff never fails. Everything comes out fresh and fast if you’re thinking about coming here

Ive always like this place!! I really love churros and I was trying to get some of them fresh but it was really impossible. They gave me the worst churros ever....I asked for some of the recent they brought from the back and they didn't attend my petition. So be prepared to not good service. to

Siempre excelente. Es como almorzar en la Habana. Never disappoint, is like having lunch in th Havana. Great customer service. Sandro, is my favorite staff member. Highly recommend this place
