Went to the Summer Shack for the first time. I ordered the seafood platter and my wife ordered the tomato mozzarella salad. The seafood was fresh, portion size was not as large as I thought. The salad was amazing, as the mozzarella was fresh. The draft beer was a bit on the pricey side. Overall, we would absolutely go back. The service was excellent at the bar. Very little wait for our food. The restaurant was clean and organized.

After reading some of the complaints about this place from online reviews, I was ambivalent about going with my disabled father for one of his very rare day trips away from the nursing home. I'm so glad we did, everything about the experience was exceptional. Starting with the outstanding cocktails and platters of perfect raw oysters and the personable, flawless service by Mason our waiter. My dad had never tried their signature dish, the pan roasted lobster, and he loved it. Everything was served hot and fresh, and the courses timed perfectly. Expensive? Oh my goodness, yes. It's expensive, Doris. You're in an upscale casino at a celebrity seafood restaurant, this isn't a McDonald's on the interstate. A sumptuous seafood feast for three hungry men, with cocktails and fine wine, was around $500 with gratuity, but gave my disabled father a memory of being out with his sons that will last him forever. If I have one regret it's that we were too full to order more food!!

The service was wonderful the food was great such a fun atmosphere. I really wish I could remember the name of the waitress so I could Point her out. She was amazing. We had a wonderful time thank you very much for making our experience so great.

Located inside the Mohegan Sun Casino. We ate here for my husband's birthday while visiting the area. The food was tasty but the prices were high. Service excellent, had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table, but it was a Friday night before a concert.

Food was great. Im honestly not so sure why some of the reviews are terrible. We were seated quickly. I got swordfish and girlfriend got fish and chips. Both were excellent.

I am usually a fan of this place, my server was horrible, arguing with coworkers he seemed annoyed to be at work. Food was overcooked this time lobster was rubber. I also notice the interior seemed stripped to bare bones.... closing this location maybe?? If not, management needs to get up on the wheels and retrain the staff to Jaspers quality he worked so hard for. I am editing my review.... I've gone back since the initial review, this time was way better. Appetizers were on point and the pan roasted lobster did not disappoint. My waitress was phenomenal no complaints, I can't wait to get back here.

This place is always busy. There are some things on the menu that I love, but then others that I really would never order again. It's usually busy as they do not take reservations.

We have gone a few times and it’s always wonderful. Below is the grilled shrimp dinner, shrimp and scallop dinner, and lobster bisque. Service is always very quick and everything is delicious. Definitely worth the price.

We got there late after a Tony Bennett concert, so it wasn't crowded but they were happy to serve us dinner. A special occasion, we each had a lobster and I had some raw oysters on the half shell. Even with the bibs provided, we did get some stains on the clothes, but that's lobster - a messy meal cracking those hard watery shells. Drinks were good. Service was friendly but maybe a little slow. Still, at this hour, we had a lot of privacy and had a good time.

The atmosphere smells just as you'd hope with the scent of fresh seafood in the air. The host and waitress were friendly and helpful. People at our table were disappointed as they apparently no longer offer tampered table side corn bread that was supposedly "amazing." We'll never know.
The food was a midway step between "ok" and "pretty good."
Fried chicken was decently prepared and seasoned. The white cheddar shells and cheese could use a bit more flavor but was still overall enjoyable.
The lobster bisque could have been warmer and have more than 2 pieces of lobster in it, but the taste was still good.
A salad is a salad and you can't really rave about it, other than to say it was fresh and nothing was wrong with it.
The fish and chips were alright, could have been crisper on fries and fish.
Shrimp and scallops was delicious, kinda wish it wasn't on a skewer and that the tails weren't still on it, making it easier to eat.
Overall a fair meal with only nitpick complaints to approve. For the cost of the meals, however, you expect these little details to be more paid attention to.

I have had many lobster rolls in my life- I even buy fresh lobster meat from Maine and have it shipped to my home in South Carolina. I have never had a lobster roll as good as the one I devoured last night at the Summit Shack at Mohegan Sun. Compliments to everyone involved - the experience was amazing

Amazing experience, very nice attendants and the food is awesomely delicious. We had some fried calamari and oysters as entree, and they were very good. After I had Alaska king crab legs and they were huge and tasted amazing, my partners had lobsters that were as delicious, but I would always keep with the crab legs.
