Moved from California to Wisconsin almost a year and a half ago, and I miss this place like you wouldn't believe! It was my big treat, great food, good prices...I always got a combo plate. If we ever get back to visit, you can guarantee I'm stopping in here!!

you order at the counter after viewing the menus on the wall & then you seat yourself at a table. there is a salsa bar where you can get little cups of salsa.
I love the food here. The rice has good flavor and the beans are very very good. Some places have changed the beans and the rice is almost tasteless. Not here, they are so good. The main dishes are really good and the cost is reasonable, given the high cost of running a restaurant now days.
3 months later tried it again and I truly wish I hadn't waited so long. Good food, fair pricing and friendly staff.
Wonderful tacos with soft juicy meats. The salsa is spicy and delicious. If you don’t want salsa on your tacos, let them know when you order.

Wonderful family owned and operated business, always great service and delicious food. They make the best Spanish rice and enchilada sauce I've ever had anywhere.

Villa Del Mar has been a Ukiah institution for many years, and it's clear why. The proprietors are wonderful, and so is their food. The fish tacos are (of course) excellent, but the rest of the menu is equally delicious—my personal favorite being the al pastor. And don't miss the orange salsa!

Best Mexican food in town! My favorite is the chipotle sauce/salsa they have. It is amazing! I also love the rice they put in everything. It has good seasoning, plus pieces of potato and it is excellent. The quality of the ingredients seems good as well. The reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because it is only at this level when the owners/older couple are working. When they aren't there or go on vacation their son runs the kitchen. The quality drops to about a 3 star because the chipotle sauce isn't as good and things aren't cooked the same. This can make it a roll of the dice as to which cook you're getting and sometimes you may not get the 5 star.
The prices are good, the cashier wap good, the Carnitas tacos are really good. My only complaint is the salsa is too hot! Next time I will order salsa on the side. I will go back again, o had a good experience.

Nice authentic Mexican food! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for good Mexican food! My favorite is the carne asada wet burrito and tacos!
Good customer service. Food had what you're looking for. Texture, flavor, and presentation. Btw the spicy red sauce was perfect balance of heat and fresh flavor. Would definitely go back for any occasion. Dates, comfort eating, there's TVs to watch stuff.
