Waffle House

This was our first time in a Waffle House. We are originally from Alaska but this trip was just a fun birthday weekend from Florida. I am mad I waited this long to enjoy such a wondrous experience! The staff were amazing and friendly and full of what I can only assume is that famous southern hospitality. Stefan was our waiter and made sure we paid our dues with our hats. He was great. Best of all, the food was fantastic too!

Okay so I really don't like the morning crew. There is a woman with long hair, there she is nice to customers but she is loud and constantly complaining about what she does and what everybody else does not due. She always seems so angry and the manager well she is ok but doesn't seem to be much of a help to her employees. About 2 weeks ago, around 5pm I decided to get something to eat. I have never been to waffle house but in the morning. It was really nice the cook was an elderly lady with an accent she was very sweet and helpful. The waitress, dark hair, I think her name was Diane or Debbie, was just so friendly and did an excellent job waiting on the whole restaurant which was busy and she was by herself and neither of them ever got frustrated and was just great. They really seemed to work like a team, unlike in the mornings. I am going to go back in the afternoon because the staff seems to be more friendly and. I do not have to listen to combines and arguing between employees. Oh and my food was so much better than it usually is. Those two women rocked it and deserve a raise. Thank you for working through these difficult times.

Love a good waffle house. Unfortunately this is not one of them. It used to be, but been there twice in the last six months. Pretty bad when none of the tables are clean and the waitress is too busy on the phone to clear one. (by clear, I mean take off the plates AND the food scraps. Hope it gets better at it's the closest to me.
