Not worthy for 40mins wait. Dirt on the wall by the table, paid $11.98 for this plate. Don't know if the chips are overcooked or they used old oil,, could be both. Worst michelada we ever had. Fajitas are not even tasty...Go to Posados if you want delicious Mexican food in Tyler.

Mercado's is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Tyler Texas! Our waitress tonight Rosa was 1000% awesome! She made our visit there very very relaxing. As a waitress she is absolutely the best. She recommended drinks from the bar and also the top selling menu items for our dinner. I highly recommend you go there and if you get the opportunity ask for Rosa to be your waitress. I promise you will be back.

Best Mexican Food I've ever tasted here. I mean it's the BOMB!! Everything was so absolutely awesome!! I've never tasted so good as this. The atmosphere was wonderful. If you've never tried this, it's a must!! Must try this. You'll never regret it. It's 10 stars in my book.

We waited 20 minutes or more. They are served people behind us. Inquired we ordered before them. They lost our order and it was simple lunch menu. They apologize but I had a Dr. Appointment and couldn't wait another 30 minutes. At least they were gracious enough not to charge for chips and salsa. I am from out out town and I really wanted that Mexican food. Very disappointed.

Do not at all recommend as far as food. Just got into town and had seen this was high on the list, maybe your in the same situation. We got here and were treated great with a nice server. Food came and the FIFTEEN DOLLAR burrito was the size of an appetizer, I mean just not what you'd expect from how the restaurant seems. There was a singular shrimp in one of the tacos my mom ordered and like 2 pieces of steak in the tacos my dad had. Please find somewhere else to eat.

I had chicken and beef lunch fajitas, rice and beans. The meat was outstanding… Especially the beef. It was very tender and tasty. The rice was a little greasy and hard… The flour tortillas were delicious. Combine the fresh tortillas, meat, and all the fixings to create a delicious fajita. Thanks Mercados.

Visited here last year and it wasn't great. This time the food was a lot better. Covid still affecting staff shortage, we had a new waitress she still has a lot to learn. She will get it, she was very nice but still confused on how to wait tables. Everyone be patient and caring.
