The food was so amazing. There was a wait, and seemed to be a wait everyday, but I see why. We went twice during our 4 day vacation in Tybee. Honestly everything was amazing and all the other dishes looked and smelled amazing too. I didn’t order a burger the first day but my partner did, and that’s why we went back so I could have my own burger. This place is so worth the wait!
I am extremely happy that I stumbled across this place. Initially, I was going to go to Sunrise, but it smelled funny inside of there. From the moment I entered into the busy establishment [breakfast club], I was greeted with stellar southern hospitality. The hostess/waitress was extremely friendly and helpful with our orders. I ordered coffee, apple juice, pecan waffles, and cheesesteak omelet, which came with grits and toast. I love it. The seasonings were on point. The waffle was not too good, though. Maybe it was because it was dry, and I always opted not to use syrup because waffles have a buttery vanilla flavor, but these ones did not. Overall 9/10...I would come back to Tybee on purpose specifically for this restaurant. No pictures because the food was too good and I was hungry. My friends were pleased with their food as well. They got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and one got French toast.
After a tough week, we got to our AirBnB early Saturday and needed a place for breakfast. This was just down the road. It’s awesome. Wonder service and breakfast. I recommend to anyone wanting that old country breakfast.
Key establishment on Tybee! The essence of a good all around restaurant lays within this down to earth, amazing, delicious home like place. There is something for everyone and families are more than welcome. We are a family of 6 with 4 kids 10 and under… our kids felt comfortable, relaxed and ate their food with no regrets. As someone who knows the food industry, the food is above excellent. The staff is next level, it felt like we were visiting friends we knew for years and vice versa. And the coffee, well, the coffee is freshly ground minutes before brewed, a pleasant deep roast strong enough to wake you, to the table steaming, fresh cream to ease you into the day. I will almost beg you, at the very least, to give The Breakfast Club a try.
Food was good. Quality you would expect from a diner with elevated and unique options which were tasty. However, you have to wait online outside in the heat. This appears to be a regular occurrence due to the signage around the building. While the wait wasn’t too too bad (25 minutes or so), everyone on line was drenched in sweat and we watched several people get off the line and leave. Then once you’re seated, you’re slightly uncomfortable since your sweat soaked. Would be nice if they had those fans that spritz water outside since they require everyone to stand online outside.
Best breakfast place on Tybee Island. Period. Week days in the fall are likely less busy, this less wait time. But worth the wait. BTW... NOT a hotel. It's a breakfast site. Pecan waffles and sausage and grits are OUTSTANDING!!
Love this place. My late husband and I sat at the counter on our first visit 17 years ago. We talked with the owners while they made our order and got to know a few local people. The food is still as good this year as it was then. I had the Belgian waffle, bacon, a fried egg, and coffee. Two others in our party had the waffle with sausage. And the rest ate scrambled eggs, grits, hashbrowns, sausage, and chorizo sausage.

Please ignore all the other idiots leaving negative reviews. They clearly don’t know anything about ACTUAL good food. And Yes, You do have to wait outside and people have waited outside for this place for dozens of years and they will continue to wait outside for dozen of years. Because it’s worth it. Because it’s good. So if you’re going to complain about this place please don’t bother to show up so me and the other people that love it don’t have to share the line with you.
Why did the Google review give me options for rating this place as a hotel?? It's not...it IS, however, a delicious breakfast joint specializing in omelettes. Tasty, greasy breakfast food that is just the sort of thing you want on a vacation. We've been here half a dozen times and look forward to the next visit!
Great breakfast spot on Tybee! Definitely get there early if you can- there’s always a line out the door. Great classic breakfast foods- we both got omelettes, grits with butter, and butter toast. This meal really hit the spot!
