Amazing food! Honestly the best hush puppies I've ever had in my entire life. The barbeque and shrimp is par none, and the atmosphere is so pleasant, it makes you feel like you're at home, if home was on an island. However, the crowning jewel of this lovely establishment is the hot sauce, called Tybee Sauce. This mango habanero recipe known only to Gerald is unlike any other, probably the best I've ever had. It's worth coming down just for this.

What can I say, but we loved it! Great food, fun music, a wonderful atmosphere, and the perfect stop for a good meal.
When we arrived, the incredible staff told us the wait was currently 45 mins. We considered leaving, but they then told us why. They were short staffed. They were trying their best to keep up, but simply didn't have the staff. Which was for multiple reasons I won't get into, but suffice it to say it wasn't their fault.
With all of the difficulties now a days for business owners, staffing has to be one of the biggest. This wonderful owner was trying to do their best to stay open on a day when it was next to impossible.
It was obvious they were going to close up early because the few people working (many long hours already) were pushed to their limits. Not to mention, the weather and wind quickly turned cold.
We actually told them we didn't want to be a burden, and they insisted we stay. Yes, we were paying them for the meal, but they were maxed out. Overall we were impressed that they remained cheerful, continued to serve us, and the other customers, kept there live music going.... and did so on a day they were overworked while the weather quickly turned quite cold.
Very impressed! Worth your visit, you won't be disappointed.

Casual atmosphere, excellent food, and outstanding service! A short walk from our vacation condo, we stopped here. Open and airy this place just has a beachy feel to it that we loved. Stephen M, our server, was excellent and answered any questions we had about the menu. I went out of my comfort zone and had the Low Country Boil which was delicious and my wife had the pulled pork dinner. Both were very good and well prepared. I would not hesitate to go back to Gerald's our next time in Tybee.

Soooooo good! There were 5 of us and we just ordered a little bit of everything so we could try it all. Fried shrimp, fried oysters, fried fish, fried okra, hush puppies, jalapeño hush puppies, pulled pork.... it was all perfect! Highly recommend!!

Loved this place. I think the brisket was the most tender I've ever had, jalapeno hush puppies had just the right amount of heat, and the limeade was delicious. If you're in Tybee island, stop by. You won't be sorry.

My husband had a beef brisket sandwich with cucumber salad, my son Gerald had the pulled pork sandwich with fried okra and I had a cheeseburger with fries and okra. My son wanted to eat there because of the name but it was a good decision. Good food, good service. We stopped in on our way back to our hotel after leaving the beach at Tybee island.

Wow, the family and I were a little hesitant when we walked up but so very glad we stopped in. Food was awesome. The picky eaters ate everything, while our adventurous child branched out and ate boiled shrimp which he loved. Great place, highly recommend the low country boil. It looks amazing, and tastes even better. The fresh limeade is a really nice way to finish dinner off.

Visiting Tybee Island puts you in the mood for seafood. I was looking for a less expensive choice, drove by the G. Pig & Shrimp, and decided to give it a try.
What a great place! The shrimp is fresh, seasoned well, and huge! I’m not much of a hush puppy person...but, OMG, I scarfed down both in minutes they were the best I have ever had!
A must try in the area, you will not be disappointed!!

We decided to come here one day while we were staying in Savannah. Even though it was November, it was 70 degrees and sunny. We loved the atmosphere here. Too bad the view is of the bust highway. It is very beachy, outdoor seating under a cover. The food was very good, shrimp, oysters and brisket. The sides were good as well. I didn't like the cucumber but that's ok. Check it out if you get a chance.

Food truck in the back, party in the front! Outdoor dining under a rustic pavilion. Food is excellent. The fried shrimp was perfect, not overly battered. Jalapeno hush puppies were great and so was the brisket sandwich. Craft beer and wine only. The place cooks to order and can get a bit busy. If your an impatient person or need coddling, go elsewhere. Yet if you want to slow down, eat well and maybe chat up the owner you'll be well rewarded:)
